My Battle Weekly Challenge @bernardinetti

I did not own this card, so in order to participate in the Battle Weekly Challenge, I decided to visit the marketplace and proceed with renting it.

Wave Runner is a common card, and when I searched the marketplace there was a total of 115,034 cards available, which is a large supply, so the rental price of the card is very low, in this case 0.10 DEC per day.

As you can see, Wave Runner is a card belonging to the element of water, it has 2 points of melee damage, 3 points of speed, 4 points of life, and in order to participate in a battle, it costs 5 mana.

Its default ability is "Reach", which makes it possible for monsters with melee attack to attack in the second position of the team.

My current battle status is 1,413 rating and I'm in the "Bronze III" league, so those are the characteristics of the Battle Weekly Challenge,and the choice of battle rules was as follows:

Initially, since it is a water element card, obviously I should choose a summoner of that element, and so I chose Alric Stormbringer.

Then, as the Wave runner's life is not very big, only 4, I could not use it as my main tank, especially because it was a battle with a medium mana cap.

So I decided to choose "Serpent Of Eld" as my first card, placing the Wave Runner as my second card, because even though it has melee damage, its Reach ability allows it to attack in that position.

Then I also chose Medusa and Enchanted Pixie for their magic damage, which would be increased thanks to Alric Stormbringer.

And finally, having only 1 mana left, I placed Albatross to complete my cards.

My opponent, in turn, also chose water team, having selected Alric Stormbringer as summoner, Spineback Turtle, Peaceful Giant, Ice Pixie, Medusa, Elven Mystic and Albatross.

So the battle beggins.

Round 1:

Since both possessed Alric Stormbringer all the magic monsters in the battle received +1 magic damage.

Well friends, as you can see I was not very lucky in the Battle Weekly Challenge, because I was defeated and my opponent still had several cards available on the battlefield

The result could have been different if my choice of summoner had been different, in this case, instead of Alric Stormbringer I had chosen Bortus to reduce my enemy's magic damage.

Anyway, what I can say about Wave Runner, is that it is a good card, which has a high attack speed, making it possible to take an opponent's card out of play at the beginning of the battle.
