Splinterlands - OPENING 5 CHAOS LEGION PACK
Hello dear friends from Splinterlands, how are you? I hope so.
After a long wait and a long time, finally came the great day of the open sale of the Chaos Legion packs.
I waited with much anticipation for the opportunity to buy and of course open the packs, having purchased 5 packs I want to share with you the result of the cards obtained.
So here we go.
First of all, as we know, packs can only be purchased in-game via CREDITS, and the CREDITS I acquired through "trading" with Splintershards, having paid approximately 6.50 SPS for each 1000 credits, or 26 SPS for each pack.
I also had enough Legendary Potions and Alchemy Potions for all of them before the opening of each pack, so my chances for legendary cards and golds cards would be increased.
And the rewards of pack openings was as follows:
As you can see the packs have been well divided, and are composed as follows:
First Pack: 1 water card, 2 Earth cards, 1 death card and 1 neutral card
Second Pack: 3 Death cards, 1 life card and 1 Earth card
Third Pack: 1 water card, 2 life cards, 1 neutral card, 1 fire card
Fourth Pack: 3 life cards, 1 water card, 1 fire card
Fifth Pack: 3 fire cards and 2 water cards.
So in total: 5 water cards, 3 Earth cards, 4 death cards, 6 life cards, 5 fire cards, and 2 neutral cards.
The first pack started out very positively, because although I didn't get any legendary cards, it gave me 3 rare cards, so I was very excited. But later the amount of rare cards dropped, and only in the third pack I managed to get one legendary card, which was the only one in all 5 packs, and then 2 more rare cards, and the card division was as follows:
1 legendary card, 6 rare cards, and 18 common cards.
Although I did not get any gold cards, I can say that I liked the legendary card that was drawn.
It is a good card in itself, especially for its 0 mana cost, and can then be added to the battles totally free, being a great differential for disputes against other opponents who may not have cards with such characteristics, and for a long time it was used the "chicken" to do such a function.
Scorch Fiend becomes very interesting when we analyze that Tarsa, fire summoner, gives +1 point of melee attack and +1 point of life for the whole team, so Scorch Fiend will become a creature with 2 points of attack, 2 points of speed and 2 points of life without any additional mana cost for the team.
On the other hand, even as a consequence of not having obtained any gold card, the amount of Power granted in the cards was not high, having given me approximately only 900 points, 500 of which are from Scorch Fiend, i.e., a small amount of Power divided among the other 24 cards.
I will now hope to get some cards in the AIRDROP, since the first three I was not lucky enough to get, having increased my chances with the acquisition of these new packs, and the next AIRDROP is already near as we can check in the game:
I believe that very soon we will reach a sufficient level for the next Airdrop.
I purchased some packs, not in large quantities, during the first phases of sales, but I am very curious to see how the game will behave with this new amount of cards that will be added to the market, especially because many people did not purchase cards in the previous phases due to the need to have a voucher to do so.
But now everyone can acquire the packs without the need for vouchers, which has certainly generated a huge flow of transactions, which reflected in the purchase of in-game credits was taking a long time moments after the launch of Chaos Legion.
We will see what the result of the separation ref. the old cards with the new cards will be, how the new games will be, how the players' behavior will be, even the bots, and what the future will look like.
Another subject that I've been paying attention to is the SPS and the vouchers, once this phase of the Chaos Legion launch is over, I'm waiting for news about the usefulness of the vouchers, which I have accumulated with my SPS stake, as well as updates about the SPS itself, but this may be the subject of another future post.
