Defeating WAKA SPIRITBLADE [Up Close and Personal]

WAKA SPIRITBLADE

[WAKA SPIRITBLADE] is the Special edition promo card and it comes as a maxed level card. So using it with low level cards is very wasteful for me. This card is very rarely seen card in the league lower than Diamond League
.

Current market price for this card is 1419$. It will cost you 2 mana to use this summoner. This summoner has very unique ability and this is [Poison]. All friendly monsters will get [Poison] ability at the beginning of the battle. This is over kill if you can spread your attacks. You opponent's monsters will reduce two [Hit Points] every round. It is hard to remove this effect unless you have [Cleanse] ability or [Immunity] ability.

But Waka is not very good in this kind of battle below.

Rule Set:

• Stampede - The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.
• Up Close and Personal - The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.

HarKlaw

The rules contain [Up Close and Personal so I can only choose melee attack monsters. I chose [HarKlaw]] for his [Shield] ability. I do not know my opponent will chose [WAKA SPIRITBLADE]. This is just incidence. I am not intentionally choosing [HarKlaw].

CARNAGE TITAN

This card is an airdrop monster card. This is very good card and I bought it from the market. This monster card is very useful in Melee battle and high mana matches. It can make the life of my opponent's monsters short.

Dragon Jumper

Even though it is at level 1 Dragon Jumper is a natural born killer. Its [Opportunity] ability is very nice together with Daria DragonScale. It slayed 4 monsters in a battle. Naturally third position is the best for him.

Undead Rexx

I chose this monster because it has [Trample] ability. [Tranple] ability is a must have ability in [Stampede] rule. If you are lucky you will get a team wipe.

DJINN CHWALA

I chose this monster because I am worry of [Sneak] attacks. DJINN CHWALA has [Thorns] ability. This is the best way to counter [Sneak] attackers.


PELACOR DECEIVER


I chose PELACOR DECEIVER as a scapegoat. Its has high movement speed and [Flying] ability. Its also has 10 [Hit Points] so it will not be killed very easily.

Battle History

I chose [Daria DragonScale] to get +1 additional Melee damage to all monsters. My opponent chose [Waka] to get [Poison] ability. Three of his monster have higher level but remaining three have lower level. He also used [Double Healing] setup.

Nothing really big happens but my [Carnage Titan] gave him a lot of pressure. Even [Double Healing] is not enough.

[Dragon Slayer ]Slayed [Uraeus] and this is his first kill. A few more kill will come too. He will also kill [Haunted Spirit] in next round.

This is his second kill. Another prey is also at his front door.



Two of his monsters died in this round. [Draong Slayer] and {Carnage Titan] Slayed each of them.

[Dragon Slayer] finished off the last monsters.

[Dragon Slayer] 4 - 2 [Carnage Titan]

[Dragon Slayer] got MVP of the battle.
