Fighting against Captain Kate

This is my entry post for the Social Media Challenge organized by splinterlands.

This is the sentences form splinterlands' post. So I want to share this awesome battle with my friends.

FRANZ RUFFMANE

It seems strange that I used FRANZ RUFFMANE instead of Captain Kate. I like Captain Kate and [Bloodlust] ability but it is hard to use if you were not in brawl matches. But now is the difference we can use Captain Kate together with FRANZ RUFFMANE. FRANZ RUFFMANE can also provide +1 Armor.

It is a pity to kill Captain Kate (my beloved one) in the battle but I can not avoid my fate and hers too.

Rule Set:

• Target Practice - All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.
• Healed Out - All healing abilities are removed from monsters and their summoners.

ONYX SENTINEL

It is obvious that I will not use the monsters with Healing ability. I have to defend both physical and magical damage so I chose ONYX SENTINEL as first position monster. It has [Shield] and [Void] abilities so it can defend all kind of attacks.

DJINN OSHANNUS

For second position I thought my opponent will most likely use magic attackers with [Blast] ability. So it is better to use a monster with [Void] ability. DJINN OSHANNUS is well suited for this place with an additional [Phase] ability.

PRISMATIC ENERGY

PRISMATIC ENERGY has [Magic Reflect] ability at level 4. I preferred to use PRISMATIC ENERGY behind DJINN OSHANNUS. This is my personal choice and some may put DJINN OSHANNUS in front.

SPIRIT MINER

SPIRIT MINER is also one of my favorite monster. If not in the Reverse Speed rule Speed is almost everything. So it is preferable to use SPIRIT MINER in the middle.

RULER OF THE SEAS

I would like to use its [Blast] ability even though there is a down side using it. In case my opponent used monsters with [Magic Reflect] ability RULER OF THE SEAS will die very quickly. This is the down side.

PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS

With the perfect [Flying] and [Dodge] abilities, PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS is the best candidate for the last position. PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS is even faster with the buff from Spirit Miner.

Battle History

His healing units are useless in this battle. No monsters with [Magic Reflect] ability. I has a good chance to win this battle.

His damage are spread and my damage are focused. I will most likely take down his Tank soon.



[Phase] is very useful in this battle. I got one kill and two more will come soon.



Not two more but four more. This is very ridiculous. Anyway I have won this battle. This is a good thing for me.
No more killing for Captain Kate so no enhancement for her.
