Navigating the Challenges of Splinterlands: My Journey in the Odd Ones Out Battle
It is really hard, to win these days what about you? Still, I am kind of surprised, that I did manage to win, and luckily I did get to win a battle with the current rulesets for the weekly battle challenge. Last week I didn't manage to do that but this week seems a bit different for me I guess. My ratings are still not good right now the season will end in almost 5 days, so how far I can manage to go this season
It is really good to see so many good players here on the modern as well as wild. Not sure you they are still using the bots to play or not but the bots will be totally removed from the game Still it is really hard to say 100%. Those who are using and those who made the bots will come up with something new for sure. Don't you think?
RULESET: Odd Ones Out
Description: Only units with odd mana costs may be used. Summoners are not affected by this rule. I did get 27 Mana battles and I was lucky that I was able to use all types of summoners in the game. It is not really an easy task to deal with the opponents, it is getting really hard to predict their moves which is kind of good and bad too. It feels really sad when we do lose many battles in a row what about you?
27 Mana battle is a decent one you can include a decent card in your battle but due to the rules, I was unable to use my regular cards which I do use in the battle most of the time. Which was good in a way 😉, don't you think?
I did use the Kelya Frendul summoner that gives all the monsters an extra shield and an extra speed too.
It is getting really hard for me to select the cards because most of the time I do loos so it's been hard for me to choose the proper cards. But this time I was lucky enough that I chose this set of cards for the battle.
So, my lineup was:
Cruel Sethropod -:
So, The first card in the battle was Cruel Sethropod, This card did have any special abilities but still did have decent stats. It was really a tank that I could use in the first place but still, it was really handy for handling many attacks. I was lucky that the opponent did not have that much magic cards, if there would be more magic cards then the battle would more likely be in one direction for sure.
Tide Biter -:
The second card in the battle was Tide Biter, I really like the cards with abilities more than those that don't have any abilities. I was sure we all do love cards with more and good abilities the more they have the better the outcomes will be. The Reach (Melee attack Monsters with the Reach ability may attack from the second position on the team) ability. This can be a good card to use in low and medium battles like this one. The more abilities you have more interesting the game will be for sure.
Pelacor Bandit-:
The third card in the battle was Pelacor Bandit, The card does have two abilities Flying(Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability) and Sneak (Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster) ability. It is really a good thing to use sneak cards in your battles it is really a good strategy for sure. It is really helpful to use this ability card at least one and put this in the middle of the cards.
Venari Wavesmith-:
The fourth card in the battle was Venari Wavesmith, This card has the Protect (All friendly Monsters gain +2 Armor.)ability, I was really lucky that the opponent did not have that many magic cards if he/she had this battle might be different for sure no doubt. Even though the card stats are not that much good still it is worth it for sure. It is a really good card if you love to play with more melee cards.
Musa Saline-:
The fifth card in the battle was Musa Saline, this card has Scavenger (Gains 1 max health each time any monster dies) ability. This card's stats are not that mich good but the scavenger ability is really good Honestly I was lucky to use this card if I had not used this card then I would have lost this battle too don't you think this is true?
Sniping Narwhal-:
The sixth and the last card in the battle was niping Narwhal, the card has the Snipe(Targets enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position) ability. Using snipe ability cards is a really good deal but all the time for sure. This card did have decent stats.
The man of the match is of course Musa Saline, and due to this card I was able to win the battle, Musa Saline did manage to wint the battle.

I don't know about you... I never won any of the matches I played in Splinterlands. Even after buying some sort of deck I could not even make it out of bronze 3.
Where as to three, four years back WHEN I played I made it to gold tier 3... That really put me off from the game.
