Rent to play players beware the end of season price climb!
Hello everyone I am bigaljaho.
I have been playing Splinterlands for quite awhile now but this season I have made a huge rookie error. This season I managed to climb to goal three rating however as my energy capture rate became so low I left the game for a few days for this to recover. By this point it was only a few days until the end of the season and I had not allowed myself enough time to rebuild my DEC balance to ensure I could rent cards with high enough power to keep me in the higher divisions. I am now currently sitting in bronze to with the above 1900 reading and 1000 power with 80 DEC to my name. The biggest issue was the fact that I did not factor in my Life outside of gaming which has become quite hectic. DO NOT Heath the same mistakes I have and always make sure that you keep a healthy deck balance and usually try to rent the high-powered cards you need for the higher leagues for about three days towards the end of the season this way you can avoid the claim in prices and keep your power level where it needs to be.
So much of the game is a timing issue. Does anyone have a good solution for a way to receive or loan cards by delegation at the end of the season?
I agree! I think 3-4 days before the end of the season you really need to grind out the wins and bank as much dec as possible, pick a ranking you want to finish in and rent a card that will keep you in it till the end of the season, if the card costs 109 dec a day you need that 300/400 to rent for those days otherwise you'll have to pay through the nose at the end of the season!
