Splinterlands Art Contest Week 207! Today drowing Darkstalkers.

Hello friends of Hive! I hope you are very well, I wanted to redo Darkstalkers, because, when I drew her, I was trying a new style of drawing, and I'm still very new at it, and as I was not satisfied with that I made this new drawing.

As I was making the sketch, I wanted to highlight the female figure, imposing and beautiful, where she reflects impetus and strength. I am messy in the hair to try to look for dynamic forms, then I made her weapon as the central point of the canvas, to also convey the deadly scene that is happening.

The following is the base colors of the character, then place an orange gradient layer to better unify the shades and the background; and also the shadows of the Darkstalkers character from a light coming from above

The next thing was to place blue reflections projected by the weapon in a kind of Darkstalkers or spell, also some reflections coming from my spotlight, some silhouettes of trees in the background and that was it!

Once I had all the color work done, the last thing I did was to work the details in the drawing, such as shadows, a couple of lights and so on, to finish with my version of this character.

After I had finished the sketch and got it the way I wanted it, I went to work the color on it. Using the colors from the original illustration, I integrated them into my style in my version.

I composed the background with several elements: first I drew and painted a kind of destroyed terrain, so I could put destroyed rocks flying and raise dust in the environment.

Lastly, I drew some action lines to frame the character, blurred an image so much that only mixed color patterns were visible and sent it to the back to fill in.
