Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge - Newbies Guide Let's Talk About Mother Nature

One thing I love about mother nature is the peace it always makes one feel. It drives you out from your sanity each moment you even go out to get some fresh air. Well that feeling is no different from how you feel each time you play a game related to nature.

Splinterlands has always been one of my favorite mother nature games. So far so good it has always been packed with actions and cravings. One thing that is always difficult for most folks out there is how to arrange the cards and place them in their right full places especially on the battle field.

Newbies find it difficult to hack their way through every corner of the game. However, its easier to first start with each splinter, for example lets take a look at the earth splinter.

I love this splinter more because it is jampack with alot of juicy monsters. The first thing to pick when you are place on the battlefield is a summoner, a summoner act as a leader. We all know that even without a general leading an army, that army sure will crumble, summoners are just like that.

The earth splinter have lots of summoners, some probably belongs to other splinter while still in the earth splinter. But the best summoner I've used so far in the earth splinter is Obsidian.

Obsidian has just one command and that is giving +1 magic attack to monsters who has magic attack. So if you are picking this summoners, be sure to pick an army that posses just magic attack straight up or half of the armies having magic attacks.

As a newbie, you'll have limited cards to work with probably just starter cards, here is a list of monsters you can work with.

Regal peryton
Hill giant
Goblin psychic
Lurking purfer
Moxian Rebel

Regal Peryton has the flying ability and has magic attack too, I love putting him on the battlefield because of his ability, a fast monster with the flying ability will be very difficult to hit by monsters who has the melee or ranged attacks.

Hill giant doesn't have any magic attack but I pick him because of his health, probably it will take some time to wipe him off while buying some time for the rest monsters to attack.

As a newbie there is one strategy that can get you off the losser hook, and that is always using a tank healer. Tank healers serve as a medical personal for your tanker (1st monster in the row), they also have the ability to heal the tanker in every round. You will be amaze the victories tank healers can bring to you on the battle field.

In the earth splinter, I love going for Goblin Psychic because he has an average magic attack. So while this card main priority is healing the tanker, he is also bent into attacking his pry. For instance, Goblin psychic here heals the tanker Regal Peryton in every round.

Moxian rebel belongs to the neutral element and can only be choosen if probably you want to make good use of her ability. With the monsters training ability which gives adjacent monster +1 magic attack, I picked her because I used the summoner Obsidian.

Here's how it works, her ability kinda gets me one or two monsters without attack. That is, having the magic attack from her and having additional magic attack from obsidian.

Ohh well, for me these are the first team I tried out when starting out and it gave me a wide duration of how the earth splinter works.

I am not saying it might not for you but it sure will get you spinning especially understanding the basics on splinterlands.
