This win helped me earn my first "Diamond" season chest earned this season, but it's taken quite a long time. 11 of 14 battles and still sitting at 1679 Starting in Silver 2 with a 1400 rating, instead of the usual 1600 resetting now from Gold 1 to 1600
With back to basics, in which Monsters lose all abilities, as well as mele only, competing in Wild Silver 1
I fell from Gold 1 to Gold 2 in wild as i made it to Diamond 3 for Modern Last Season a couple days ago with 1 day to go..not really realizing the implications for Wild Gold 1 resets to 1600 vs Wild Gold 2 resets to 1400, and I slipped to Gold 2, while trying to push to Diamond 3 for Wild, so I could reset at 1900, like I did in Modern.
I was not gonna make it into Wild Diamond 3 anyway unless I risked running my Energy Capture Rate or ECR down so low, and I'd already done that a lot in prior seasons just to make it into Diamond, and found it to be,.well ungood, for lack of a better way of describing it. It takes too long for it to reset once you go below 50%, really 70%, but anyway
War Chaang is the only one who can attack from the back line in this battle! Thank you War Chaang, for your Great Archery and Mele, just in case in this battle, standing strong to the end!! This is a Great Card if you haven't ever seen War Chaang or known it's true form. It's Phenomenal Here for the Win

Mylor helped too, with mele only as one of the 2 rulesets here. Selecting this Summoner with Mylor giving every Monster on his team Thorns it's a no brainer here, as I never really use him anymore, since I mainly play in Gold, and I only have a Level 1 Mylor! Mylor was one of the first cards I purchased back in like February of 2022, and I did select Mylor Crowling many times in Bronze & Silver as seen here in this battle on Thursday, December 1st, 2022

Nice writeup! I'm a huge Archery-whore and fully approve of any back line shenanigans! Keep grinding and pretty soon you will be in the position to consider whether or not you want to burn your ECR down in order to make the final push to CHAMPION!!!! Keep it up!

What's the lowest your Ecr's been down to?( would be a good post idea!)I think mine is around 23%, but I've heard of Champion players earning jackpots of Sps sums that somehow make it worth running down to 1%..Have you heard of this? When in Champion I've heard of some players winning huge amounts of Sps with only 1% Ecr..But how can this be worth it? When down to 1%, do you know if the Sps they earn is for the Win,because you get so much in Champion for each win? Or is it for staying in 1st at the end of the season, you think maybe,or is it for the actual individual win somehow makes the Sps you earn it more worth it cause there's a 1% win glitch? Since no one except you, Bulldog,Clove and like 3 other people are in Champion, maybe you'd know?
