A Quick Hive Goal Update

It feels like this year blew by when looking back at it. Just a few days left in the year and most of that will be spent traveling and visiting family. That means somewhat of a reduction in posts which I'm going to do my best to keep up with on my travels as that's something I want to get better at. Traveling and working on the go. Right now I lug around my PC because it has all my info on it keys etc. How do you all manage with Hive etc when traveling I'd love some tips!

This is just a quick goals update from last week to see how far we progressed.

HIVE: 71,027 Goal 100,000 +206 in the last week. Not all that great and for sure it's going to take us a long time to get to 100k at this rate which means I'll need to pull outside sources if that's a goal I want to still hit. Primarily it's for the two air drops coming up but I'm not really sure if it would be worth dumping 25k in right here at the end in order to hit that goal.

We did get a update on on the Ragnarok game which will be releasing on Hive early next year as well as the speak network. Both of which should be rather large updates to hive and further increase the price of hive being that it will drive more scarcity. We are also starting to see HBD adopted as an option for many of these projects to start earning passive income. That's also a goal of mine but that 12% just feels like AGEs to get somewhere compared to DeFi still. I do fully understand HBD is a peg of $1 value (which it never seems to hold still but it's done much better) but in order to earn anything sustainably meaningful from that you'd need a solid $100,000 which would give you $12,000 a year at the current APR. Right now we just crossed $1,000 so $120 a year. Not bad but the downfall is that's the ONLY liquidity coming out of hive at the moment so it's pretty much like I'm stacking EVERYTHING and then some which does not put me on track to earning and living off crypto in 2022.

If you'd like to reach the announcement article on Ragnarok you may do so here

I've also started to add liquidity into BeeSwap with Hive which I might stop since I want to stack for the air drop and those wont count.

LEO: 37,293 Goal: 75,000 +375 since last week Again a little on the slow end but that's because I pour a decent chunk of it in to BeeSwap for liquidity. Again I might stop at the moment as I don't want to rely on BeeSwap and would rather that be more of an extra income since it does have the potential of being unreliable and impermeant loss.

A part of me wants to super stack LEO just because and buy it but another part of me is like NO CUB and PolyCUB so I'm a bit conflicted with myself over that at the moment lol

SPS: 126,599 Goal: Unknown +5,225 At these prices for me It's just stack time and not worth selling I feel like I'm just kicking myself in the face if I do. Instead this is going to have to be a longer play. Even vouchers have fallen under $4 which honestly has me surprised as they will be required to get bonus packs after this 2nd sale phase which means their value should at least be $4. Bargain pickup? I think so! Not for buying packs now but for the bonus packs come early Q1 they should hold at least a $4 value.

Now I said that's like kicking myself in the face selling right now but with how much I'm making off the air drop and staking that's a cool at least $1,000 a week which is honestly sizeable. I still feel like I shouldn't though and continue to stack right now. If anything Buy more if it dips to $0.17 or lower. I believe it very well could as Q1 and on so far there are no plans for SPS besides earning staking rewards and airdriops. That to me seems like most would sell off their airdrop and staking earnings as there's no perceived value at that time. No airdrop, no vouchers, no nada nothing in terms of a point to it in the short term.

Anyways we have a number of projects in the works many which have only started to build so it's going to take a few more months before those become more passive. That being said I feel even though we will be missing many of these goals we still picked up some serious wins this year in other areas we didn't know about in particular Splinterlands and Hives huge rally in price from $0.13 to a more stable $1.50!

I hear you this year really did fly by. The great thing is I have actually come farther than I had originally planned.
At the beginning of 2021, I had no plans for Hive and now it is a big part of my daily plan.
Splinterlands is great currently I am working on increasing my stake in the game.

Sorry for the misunderstanding I said "actually come farther" Farther (a longer distance) not Father. It is a small difference of the letter R.

I have never had a child, but I do have a cat named Spike 😀

Maybe you put the bar too high with your yearly goals? :) I have a feeling that I will do the same as you the next year as I plan to raise the bar really high... But, that should work as a great motivator for pushing even harder than this year...
I have the same problem regarding LEO and investing it further... There are so many options where to go and PolyCUB will be another one... But, in the end, I suppose that everything will balance out and other is no "bad pick" for LEO! That's the beauty of that coin... :)

I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project and it will be highlighted in the next post!

I could have reached it for sure but I sold some of my Hive into other projects like CUB which was unexpected at the time and later some other wax based games lol which are paying out nicely but I've kept it in wax instead of transferring it back. If I would have just stuck to Hive only I would have hit that goal for sure. Not regretting it though as I now have more assets in more places instead of just hive and I think that's smart investment wise.

If anything I'm going to go crazy hard in Q1 starting now to reach those goals I had originally set.

There are so many great places to invest money... Completely get you... I'm torn between CUBDefi, Dieselpools, Splinterlands... lol...
