Alpha means the game, project or whatever is being worked on is in a very basic frame work where it might be testable by the public but everything will most likely be reset before launch. Some projects offer up exclusive perks and rewards to Alpha testers but also gives you exclusive looks into what is coming and how to interact with it giving you a bit of a heads up compared to new users on how things operate and work. Often times as well Alpha allows for feedback from users to build a better and stronger platform, game or application.

In this article I'm going to go over the Alpha phase projects that I currently know of on the Hive blockchain and how you can become an active part in them if you wish.

Hive Blockchain Games

GLG (Genesis League Goals)

Was originally suppose to be out in Q2 of this year but as we all know development times always take longer. That's why when something actully comes out in the time frame it says it's going to it's a true celebration!

GLG is the first of what should be many games that releases from the Genesis League Spots platform. This is governed by a token called GLX.

So far we have gotten some sneak peaks as to how the game looks including some details on how it will operate such as players on your team having a fan base. This game while it is taking a bit longer if they hit it right could open up a huge new wave of games for the hive blockchain and sports.

Web3 LeoFinance

LeoFinance.io I would consider back in the Alpha on some parts such as the long form content. This application is being built out to as the everything app of what twitter said it would like to become. Short form content, long form, video, shorts, ad revenue, payments and more all under one roof and so far it does look to be shaping up to be just that.

Currently the short form content known as threads is in beta and has gotten many updates while the longer form content is currently getting some love and I would consider it to be Alpha stages. This month should also see the start of the ad revenue system.

WOO

Woo game has been shaping up into something nice. I have a feeling this could be a huge hit with the wrestling community and even outside of it. Currently you get buy packs, stake packs, stake the woo token but overall the game aspects are not there yet. We should however be seeing them this year and could be yet another awesome addition to the gaming space for the hive blockchain.

Woo has a number of promos and other assets going on right now to help you build up your inventory and get ready for the grand launch of this project. Land is another big aspect which was currently introduced to woo just recently and will act as some type of venue for the matches to take place.

INK

Craft Ink is another game which looks like it's in Alpha mainly with some back buying and a liquidity pool for the INK token. However we should be seeing this game get released into an Alpha stage soon as well. This game looks like have a cool office space vibe to it and might end up being another creative and unique fun game on the hive blockchain.

Craftink has just about 7,000 packs left up for grabs which consist of 5 cards in each for just $3. A great little buy in price for what this game might become.

Splinterlands Land

Land is a huge update to the Splinterlands game which even beat out Axie Infinity at a time. The game is still going strong. There's most likely going to be a HUGE dollar value associated with this aspect as land plots are selling for roughly $100 each still with zero development on them yet.

Alpha stage of this will allow for clearing of plots but build and resource production seems like it wont happen until Q4 of this year which again brings massive updates to the game and tokennomics. Instead of just SPS the governance token and DEC a somewhat pegged token used in game there will be at least 7 other tokens for land which are resources and many NFTs and other assets that are produced from land itself!
