Each week I'm putting together a what's new on the hive blockchain. This ranges from core updates to applications. It's mainly focused around applications but if there are large core updates to the chain those will be covered as well.

The bottom section is my goals which I'll be phasing out after this year and just focus on a what's new each week instead. For now the goals section is a way to keep myself on track but also to show others new and old to hive what's possible with constant work, investment and building connections.

What's New

There's no big core updates that I've been seeing so this time we are going to be focused on applications. If you're currently running your own application and had a recent good sized update that I may have missed let us know in the comments below.

LEOFinance

So far Leo is hinting at a possible big event going to take place for Leo Power up day. This takes place on the 15th of each month. Leo never disappoints in terms of price action and the amount of hype generated from these monthly events. Powering up at least 150 $LEO will net you a badge much like you would get on the HPUD Hive power up day.

The Gaming Front

On the gaming front there hasn't been all too much movement still. A lot of games are still beta or still working up towards release. The big ones I'm looking forward to launch by end of this year are.... Woo, Splinterlands land release and a few others that are in limbo at the moment and I need to get better updated on. RaceValley, CryptoCompany, INK, GLS (which I think is in beta), Tower defense from Splinterlands team as well which I believe will be more towards October.

Goals

$HIVE

Goal: 100,000 Current: 97,673 Needed Per Day: 15.82

Daily needed has dropped by a lot. Nearly 1.5 hive daily it's been reduced by. While I could have gone stronger I'm actully investing heavily into liquidity pools into what I feel will be a huge collection of fees and value over the next two months. This mainly stems from Splinterlands and the land release in which a total of over 50 new tokens will be entering into the hive blockchain all land focused. It also sounds like all of these will be paired up with liquidity pools in DEC so you can start to see the real value here coming up very soon!

I'll dive more into the Splinterlands section later in this post.

Overall we are looking good but you'll see my powerups outside of author rewards have stopped. That doesn't mean I'm selling it off instead I'm doing two things at the moment. Staking ALL of my HBD and the extra liquid hive is being pushed into liquidity pools.

$LEO

Goal: 150,000 Current without delegation: 106,307 With Delegation: 141,312

The LEO stack has been a little slower at roughly 55 LEO per day which is pretty far off of where I want to be. That why as of yesterday I pushed another 20k hive delegation over there. That should push us upwards of 100 LEO per day which would put me semi on track. Towards the with delegation goal but the without will be a challenge.

My main focus here is curation of content, making my articles as evergreen as possible, promoting it on other social networks and getting as ready as possible for the ad revenue.

$SPS

SPS is moving along well towards that 1 million goal. I'm expecting a rather high jump in SPS earnings once land is released. That's mainly because only occupied lands will be able to earn SPS while all the other plots will no longer count. That's a drastic reduction in SPS going towards plots and I have a fair share of some rather decent occupied plots I'll be putting to work asap. These beta cards and even some older alpha cards are going to help a lot.

The other side of this are liquidity pools which are currently not only earning more SPS but also fees.

Overall progress is looking good all around and I believe come the end of this year we are going to see a ton of action not only in applications but also values.
