Hive Will Shine In 2022

To think just a year ago Hives price was just $0.12 around this time. Since then Hive has flourished but it wasn't really until the dawn of Splinterlands that the value started to skyrocket and the real potential of hive started to come to light. What we are seeing now is the building blocks to people now starting to see interest in Hive and wanting to build applications on top of it. With every application comes higher prices and more demand and 2022 I feel is going to be a MASSIVE year for Hive.

Airdrops

• 3Speak

Three speak has been around for a while but they are about to take things to a whole new level in terms of video and content creation on the Hive network. I'm still trying to wrap my head around exactly how it's all going to work in terms of voting, staking, buying miners and so forth.

What we do know is that all Hive holders will be getting a 1:1 token at the launch of it and that air drop is now under a month away last I checked.

• Game - Ragnarok

It's been announced that a new HIVE game will be airdropped early in 2022 to all Hive stake holders. IDK about you but I love a good NFT game such as Splinterlands I'm sure this game should be pretty sweet as I know a good bit of development has gone into it so far in terms of devs and dollar value invested.

DEFI

I only got start in DeFi about 9 months ago when CubDEFI was launched and I pretty much had to crash course it in a few days and figure it all out. Along with the help of an amazing community on LEO I was able to wrap my head around it and now I'm fully in DeFi literally making hundreds in value on the daily.

While not directly related to hive (however possible I'll explain this later) CUB will be releasing Polycub in a airdrop to everyone who currently has CUB staked on the DeFi platform at a rate of 0.15 per CUB. This airdrop will be over the course of 60 days and not a single air drop. That means it's going to end up pushing value to stake more and more CUB in hopes of getting more and more PolyCUB.

What's really cool about this is I think Polygon has a good solid platform out of all the layer 2 tokens. The devs of Polygon worked on Ethereum before so the relationship between the two is great and most likely will be the first go to compared to other layer 2 solutions thus giving me more hope for Polygon compared to some of the other layer 2 tokens of Ethereum.

Indirectly effects Hive - What I mean by this is that CUB can be exchanged into LEO and LEO to HIVE or bought from hive. So there are ties with it

HIVE IS GOING DEFI

• Leofi

Leofi was one of the first as well to hit the road on being able to introduction defi directly to hive. At the moment LeoFi is a place to lease and lend the token LEO. It's a way to earn about 10% APR on your LEO simply by lending it out or a great way to get yourself some LEO in stacks and use for curation.

• Diesel Pools

Diesel pools on Tribaldex was the first Hive-engine type defi platform where you could stake liquidity and earn rewards for doing so. This was then taken up a level with the recent introduction of BeeSwap.

• BeeSwap

For me BeeSwap just offers a better UI and easier to understand the layout and the rewards I'll be getting compared to TribalDex. It's where I'm now focuses providing liquidity to some of the more popular tokens I think there will be great demand for moving forward.

These are just projects we are aware of and I believe ALL of these are going to be with us Q1 2022 and in the very early part of Q1. That means there is room for huge potential in what is to come for Hive come the other 3 quarters of 2022.
