How much is the startup costs to get into dCity? I have looked into it, but remember it looking complicated, needing loads of hive to get started and lots of users complaining about the tax update release (earlier this year)
Dcity does not sound exciting to play, at least not like how Splinterlands sounds. I am curious about why everyone is talking about Dcity lately and if there are great opportunities to gain ROI passively, like mentioned here, then I understand. I was looking at Dcity token and was curious about it.
It is complicated at first but like any game you need to learn it and how it opperates. Startup cost would be 800 sim or 4 hive check what one is cheaper at the moment to optimize that front of it. You can then buy your first building. The start up costs to really make something of this game though would be pretty high. I would say you need a good 20 some buildings before you start producing some half decent results. I've been "playing" it for I would say a good 8 months now myself.
I started playing Splinterlands a few months ago. I was given a gold card before then and rented it out at first. It was profitable. Now I need it to play but am looking at other cards that I might rent that I am not currently using in play.
I have not started dCity yet but it sounds very passive indeed. It might be a game that does not require much thought to get passive income.
I started Splinterlands and dCrops recently. Not sure whats the ROI on the latter, but it looks like a very low maintenance type of deal so I thought why not
I would’ve thought dCrops might make an appearance here. I just started fooling with it but I dropped around $300-$400 in it and I’m getting almost .5 hive a day just got holding.

Big hopes on Splinterlands. Also, ton of new p2e games lately (in all blockchains), let’s see who wins.

Thanks for the information, I will have to check Dcity out.
I would like to give more attention to my Dcity account, but I often don't know how to navigate this new environment of Dcity.
Splinterlands has proved to be one of my best investment ever.
God I wish I had invested more into it.

I know that feeling a few thousand 2-3 years ago is now 300,000 pretty crazy

I think the SPS was the icing on the cake for splinterlands, I hope to get good results soon.
