What's New With Hive This Week

I've been changing up my weekly goals write up to instead mainly be about changes and things going on with hive. Much like a week in review of changes happening on Hive and layer two tokens. While I will still include some of my goals which helps me be accountable it's also a way to show others what is possible here on hive with work, determination, putting in the time and investment.

What's New With Hive

LeoFinance

Leo recently published a massive roadmap update which you can check out here Evolving the LeoVerse This roadmap outlines a general vision of Leo over the next what I would say 6month to maybe a year and what the goals are.

One of the biggest updates was that [LeoThreads](https://leofinance.io/threads] is in fact now going to be what Project Blank was suppose to be. This change personally has me a little conflicted at the moment. On one side I understand housing everything under one hub but on another it leads me into wondering how this is going to affect onboarding, quality on LeoFinance and in general the adoption of the token LEO by not having another token that would have been used for Project Blank that was stated for over a year. Time will tell and adjustments will be made where needed I know this but I feel it's a step backwards and not forward for the long term growth. However I don't have all the details and information yet so it will be interesting to watch and see how this all plays out.

In any case I have to say if you're not using LeoThreads you should be! Get a feel for it and start building your following and engagement on it.

The biggest report I want to see next week is to compare LeoThreads from last week to this week with the announcement and changes and then watch if there's growth or not moving forward.

Hive

In general I haven't seen too much development on hive outside of the last hardfork and then the next shortly after to fix some issues. Besides that things seem to be running smoothly and I'm curious to learn what the goal and next iteration for Hive will be now that resource credits are now becoming increasingly important.

Hive Crypto Games

The gaming space seems to be growing. Splinterlands seems to be going through some rather drastic votes at the moment that will have big impacts on the game itself and values of tokens and cards. As much as some people complain about these changes just talking about them and seeing votes sway in one direction has actully increased DEC price to near peg before it's even been activated and

The Goals

Days Left In The Year: 55

Hive

Goal: 100,000Current: 82,506.664Needed: 318.06/daily

Things have been progressing here faster and faster. Even though my daily needed has exploded I've actully been powering up more hive and buying it faster and faster with each passing day. I've also packed on a few extra HBD a few times and overall I have to say I'm happy with the progress. I've been logging a ton of hours into hive and leo lately and while it's not earning huge bucks it's for sure been increasing the amount of tokens I'm able to buy and produce. The goal is to continue stacking this as quickly as possible and create more passive income streams that help fuel each other. 2021 was all about stacking and building 2022 is about building passive income streams to be prepped for the next bull rally which is expected summer 2023 or into 2024. The ultimate goal is to stop working and live fully off crypto. I expect that to happen within the next 3 years with a huge amount of time, effort and building between now and then.

Author rewards had fallen a good bit but curation picked up a small bit.

LEO

Goal: 75,000Current: 75,120Needed: 0/daily

We reached out goal of 75,000 LEO power last week but that hasn't slowed things down. In fact I've actully increased it as the LEO token looks like it's going to become more and more popular as we roll forward. The biggest of which will be the passive income it generates from ad revenue that will be paid out to LEO stakers which is expected by end of year.

Since there looks to be no other token that will be produced now LEO feels like it's going to become more and more sought after and with that increase in demand and in more hands of people should mean a much higher price as we roll into Q1 of 2023. Till then it's full stack and buy ahead!

The other place I'll be expanding largely is CUBDeFi the reason is at $0.03 or just shy of it CUB has the possibility to become a huge profit in the next year. Even if it only gets pushed to $0.06 I would have doubled my money and that's the least I'm betting on here.

Splinterlands

That Splinterlands race to 1 million is still on. It's going to be no easy task for sure. However DEC peg is quickly closing in and I honestly feel like DEC is going to overshoot this $0.001 peg again much like it did last year when DEC was counted for the airdrop and spiked to over $0.01 for a time. That means I'll most likely be holding off on pack buys with DEC for the foreseeable future and depending on what happens with the liquidity pools vote I'll stack it in there if the price is right or start shilling some of it out to buy other assets if it goes enough over peg.

CTP/OneUp/Pizza/NEO

These consider to by my secondary goals and not a primary focus but still active.

CTP is now closing quickly on 20k CTP powered up and oneup I'm still a little confused as to what in the world is going on with that project. Pizza is a constant stack as that one just makes sense and NEO we high a massive milestone of 2 million tokens staked! I do curation for that account under @neo.bitcoinflood so I can fully utilize it.
