Each week I like to do a little series called what's new on hive (Hive blockchain) which goes over new releases, updates and things we can expect and look forward to soon. It may at times include my own goals I have which is mainly to hold me accountable towards the goals I have but to also show others what is possible with continued work, interaction and investment. Of course do your own research before investing.

What' New

This week we got one of the biggest updates ever from the gaming front of the hive blockchain. That big news is another front end is going to be launching that's around the arcade front. Smaller arcade system games often have much less development behind them but honest can be some of the most fun. We see this often with smaller studios of gaming and indie gamers which push out what gamers really want over some big massive project that most of the time falls flat.

A New Game and Platform

That news I wrote about in more detail on my article here Major Moves Happening On Hive In short though Splinterlands during the last bull market expanded their operations by a lot. One of those moves was a new startup called Invennium which is geared to brining other games from web2 or new start ups quickly on to the hive blockchain and launch their game. The first of these we have seen is called genesis league goals of which the governance token of those is the GLX token. That GLX token is used for genesis league sports which should at some point have many games under its belt but seems focused on sports only.

Thus it's expanding again into a more general arcade and a new airdrop token will be happening for that platform along with a release of their first game!

Coming Soon

This week we will also see the 2nd payout from LeoAds part of the InLeo platform in which ad revenue is used to buy back Leo tokens and distribute it to active users with staked value. This will only be the second time this has happened so far but on the 1st of each month it is something we should be seeing on the regular.

Last months rewards ended up landing me 434 $LEO roughly $21+ in value which isn't all too bad for a generally passive income stream. We will have to see what happens this month though and start to pull what the average is. Also as the price of LEO goes up it also means less LEO each time but still the same dollar value so the hopes here are the price continues to appreciate.

That being said that's a lot of positive news going on for the hive blockchain overall. While they don't directly involve with hive they still have good pairings which creates user base, activity and trading value.

Goals

$LEO

My main goal for the LEO token is to get to 150,000 as quickly as possible. I've made recent moves to start getting closer to that faster which should push me well over 100 LEO per day at least.

$GLX $SPS

These two main goals are to have 1 million of each staked by the end of this year and the sooner the better especially with the news above of a new airdrop. I can see holding these core assets as being a huge win over time. They should all generate at least some sort of passive style income and retain value.

$HIVE

The goal for this one is to honestly just keep stacking. I have zero plans to sell any of it and simply want to just keep increasing my stack of it. I'd even go so far as saying it's one of my top priorities now including HBD. However with HBD I'd love to get to 182,500 as that would be a generation of 100 HBD a day. But to be honestly I don't trust it to hold peg well and I don't trust it that there's enough liquidity to get it out quickly if ever need be. That pushes me to be a little more passive on the HBD even though the 20% APR is very nice.
