MY SPLINTERLANDS JOURNEY

Back in June 2021, where Axie Infinity was sky rocketing all over the globe and was heard by gamer people like myself in the Philippines. At first, I wasn’t convinced that you can earn money through just playing. For me it was an instant scam and didn’t even bother. After a month, where news just exploding all over the internet, saying that a person who invested or a scholar in Axie makes them rich. And it was 100% legit, and because of that I did my research and put effort on applying some scholarships from the web hoping that I get accepted. And as I searched through the web, I also searched about games that can earn also rather than axie. And there I discovered SPLINTERLANDS. First, I didn’t know that you should pay for 10$ because the video that I saw said that it was free. You can play the game but you can’t earn if you don’t buy the spell book. And at that time, I don’t have that money yet. I’m still a student and 10$ for me is already expensive in my pocket. But then, on August 2021 where it was my birth month, the boyfriend of my sister already play this game and at that time, we were talking about play to earn games and then I said to him that I want to play SPLINTERLANDS cause I do think it’s a good game and it can earn well. I do play card games like Yugi-oh so that’s why it kinda makes me interested to this game. And then he shares that he was playing the game for a month now and it was my birthday, so he gifted me a spell book so that I can start earning. And I remember how happy I was at that time, because I do think it was the best birthday present, I ever had and it was my first play to earn game to start off. And as I start cruising through the year. Blood and sweat I study the game from every league until I reached my point to try champion. And by that also I earn more and building my deck little by little. Next year I’m going to study for board exam, and because of SPLINTERLANDS I have the budget for my expenses without having the money from my parents. It really awesome how this game change many people’s lives. I really love the game even though if somehow it will get fucked up (hopefully it doesn’t) I still can see myself playing this game if that happens. But I do believe the developers of this amazing blockchain game wouldn’t disappoint their community because we can see how they actually care for us. Out of many blockchain games out there, SPLINTERLANDS still staying stand strong. I love the game and love the community! Thank you SPLINTERLANDS! MABUHAY!
