I have always been very excited about Chaos Legion airdrops since the days when i got an Epona from Dice airdrops despite only buying like 40 packs, a card which i got for free is now worth in the region of $150-200 !!!

This is also why i am super excited for the Airdrops too. Too bad i was not playing during Untamed pack sales time but imagine u got dropped these Untamed summoners for FREE....Yodin and Llama is worth major bucks now.

This the reason why i didn't buy any packs from Hive despite some people telling the community non-airdrop packs in Hive at $18 is a good buy, well look at the non-airdrop packs in Hive now. I want all my packs to be qualified for airdrops !!

Now lets see how we did on these airdrops....

Dr Blight Promo

Guaranteed was 50 packs for 1 Dr Blight, i bought 150 packs...this the first Pre-Sale and vouchers were super super expensive.

2nd & 3rd Airdrop, Whale and Angel

Guaranteed was 300 packs and unlucky me only got the guaranteed reward. Able to buy more packs here as Airdrop vouchers were at doubled rates during Pre-Sales Phase 2.

Grum and his 2 Waifus

Wrote and article about this (https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@bladesong/latest-airdrop-cards-grum-and-his-waifus-iza-and-lira) and this time i was super super unlucky as i really went all out to buy more than 1000 packs during the start of the General sale to secure my Mav status.

With the guaranteed at 350 packs i manage to secure a total of 1400 packs bought and STILL i did not get any extra dropped, going thru discord i noticed lots of people bought much less packs than me and got dropped much more !!!!

My frustration is growing on me at this point....to the point of depression and thinking to quit the game...but dumb me went and buy more of these cards to make them all lvl 3...zzz

Spirit Hoarder and twist in luck...

There was a mini uproar over this airdrop as the packs requirements increased significantly when it was very close to 7 million packs. The requirements was raised to 500 packs for 1 standard airdrop. I had to get another 100 packs make sure i got 3 guaranteed and knowing my luck, probably only will get the guarantee but fate always have other desires....

So yes having been unlucky in the past 6 airdrops finally his something good with a Gold Foil airdrop finally !! At least this covers the loss in the previous airdrops...

Final thoughts

I guess i got pretty lucky at the end but the journey does not end here as we have another 7 Airdrops left, 5 of them being Legendary Summoners !! Hope they do no increase the guaranteed amount by too much then...if not my credit card will be crying out for help !!

Judging from the Untamed airdrop quality i am looking forward to this, and in a years time or so when all the Chaos Packs are sold out we will have a huge jump on all these prices.
