Yes i name her Queen of Pain cause she likes to take the Pain, in doing so she returns the pain to you and it can cause a lot of pain !! This the reason i strongly believe that this card is one of, if not the best Legendary in the Chaos Legion set (if you do not count Dr Blight as i consider it a Promo)

First lets look at her stats...

Looking at this i would say a lvl 1 is just...normal. 4 Cost, with Fortify is nothing special especially for a Legendary.

At lvl 2 her Power Level jump tremendously...now you have this awesome ability called Amplify

This already makes it a super good combo with Mylor Crowling. Mylor gives everyone thorns, therefore making this combo a nightmare for Melee focused teams. This shows she only really starts to shine in Silver League and above.

Lvl 3 she gets Triage, meaning backline heal. Something really needed as the only other backline healer in Earth is Khmer Priestess but she only gets her Triage at lvl 8, Diamond League...where as this Queen gets Triage in Gold League.

I wont comment much on lvl 4 as its a level not attainable by me but she gets the Rust ability which is somewhat good. In Diamond above u get so many buffs and debuffs that another debuff will surely help.

Price..not cheap but potentially higher

Currently she is already the most expensive Chaos Legion Card, again i do not count Dr Blight as its a limited Promo that cannot be opened in packs. This really proves her utility. Although after the General Sale i think her price will drop due to the huge influx of cards, but when the packs dry up her price should still hold strong and jump up further.

Combo and Utility

Now apart from the awesome summoner in Mylor that gives thorns to everyone, Earth & Dragon packs a good line-up of Return Fire, Reflect Magic & Thorns !!! Now lets review and look at some top choices to use that takes advantage on her abilities, with a strong focus on Modern format cards....

One of my favourite tank under earth Splinter. Ultimate Anti-Magic Horse. Lvl 5 gives the sweet reflect magic that lets you pair with the Queen of pain. Imagine Phantom of Abyss hitting your for 2 damage while u reflecting 3 damage to him. Lots of HP and Damage too...with Mylor as your summoner you already take care of 2 out of 3 damage types.

Another very cheap costing pair with the Queen. Doesn't matter the low HP (much higher at higher levels), for 2 cost you cant get any better meat shield that hurts opponents magic users. If im pretty sure my opponent is using a magic spam i usually have this and the Unicorn Mustang in the front 2 slots...yummy Ruler of the Seas.

Another favorite of mine. Goes very well in 2nd positions. Added bonus at lvl 5 and above is the Repair ability with works even better with Queen since the Queen gives Fortify !!! Return Fire those pesky Ranged Snipe makes me a happy man.

Now she works well with Dragon splinter also as Dragons have some pretty good Tank in Djinn Chwala having thorns right off the bat at lvl 1.

The final entry is simply a beast of a tank. At level 3 and 4 the Robo Knight gets both Magic Reflect and Return fire !!! Adding a pretty good health and armor with Void, this is simply a complete package that works well with the Queen. Only thing that he is pretty expensive in Mana cost wise.

Final thoughts

I see this Queen of Pain to be one of the better Legendary if not the Best Legendary so far to come out of this set and currently at its going price of $20+ i think its a steal !! So much support utility coming out of this. Sometimes the support role is also very important for your line up. I am surely buying more.
