Conquest Comics Customer Spotlight!
Look at this psychopath! Each and every week, this slacker here pops into Conquest Comics to get his nerd fix. His hit usually consists of a smattering of comic books, peppered with a hint of toys. Well this week, we got him good!!!
As a gigantic Star Wars fan, he just HAD to snag the new Force FX Darth Vader Lightsaber along side the Gentle Giant Jumbo Vinyl Mandalorian. I imagine right now he’s got a hoodie on…lights turned down in the basement…standing in front of the long mirror…looking for that right pose as he ignites that badass saber…basking in the deep red glow. 😂
In all seriousness though, I wanted to do a little spotlight on a special customer. Might be something I’ll pop here from time to time as I have lots of folks who I actually consider friends that I’d like to throw the spotlight on from time to time. “Johnny Lately” here being one of em.
An ex comic shop owner himself, he understands the “fun” aspects of the business…so we often talk shop a bit deeper than I do with most folks. He’s an u er Star Wars fan, drives a big rig, and parties it up at concerts like he’s 25 again. He never bitches about prices, we tell stories and laugh each and every visit, and he’s a gigantic gamer. The dude is simply a pure pleasure to have as a customer, and friend.
I am slowly (by slowly I mean each and every week) trying to guilt him into hopping into the nutty world of Splinterlands. With him being a hardcore gamer, I think it’s a perfect fit for him, so wish me luck as it’s only been about a year that I’ve been hounding him. 😜
Regardless, I’m proud and honored to have you be a wonderful customer, but an overall stand up dude that I’m glad to call my homie. Thanks you for allowing me to shine a light on you today, to rape your wallet this week, and for helping to make Conquest a success. 🍻 brother!

How fun is that? I often wish I had a brick-and-mortar store. It must be so fun to chit-chat with your regulars... and especially those who are characters like that guy!
LOL! Sounds like a fun guy. Just the sort of customer you want. I hope he does get into Splinterlands and Hive. Do you have any Hive marketing in the store? Or could that cause some issues? I know anyone operating a business has to be careful and crypto could attract the wrong sort of interest.
