Look at This Bling!
Small baby steps. This far I’ve only made it up to Gold I throughout several seasons but have yet to get into Diamond. Well…Mission accomplished! I thought I’d immediately lose the next battle to knock me back as that always seems to happen, but I seem to be holding up well thus far as it only took me to the very next match to start my new streak…of losing. But it’s a good place to be in.
I feel like I am slowly seeing a natural progression in my own gameplay. That and the fact that these new Chaos Legion cards add a completely new dimension to the game now. I love em! There are just so many new choices, abilities, and combinations to toy around with and I’m only about half way leveled up on my deck thus far. So much more to discover!!!
I’m going to keep on grinding to see if I can push it up to Diamond II. Not making it a goal for this season (although I’m going to try), but next season I’m 100% gunning for at least Diamonds second tier. I like to see the natural progression here. I feel that it helps reassure me that the amount of time, money, energy, and effort that I’m putting forth into this magical world, is actually paying off.
Speaking of paying off…I completed my daily quest (Earth!) right as I got into Diamond, so I was excited to get a little extra in the ol’ chest department.
Unfortunately, cracking these bastards open didn’t do a whole lot for my high I was riding on…hopefully I’m saving my luck for the now 40 (or 50?) chests I’ll be breaking into come seasons end.
So my question for some of the newer players is, have you seen you game progress a bit further with the addition of the new Chaos Legion cards? I feel as though they open so many new doors allowing for quick growth which is pretty awesome and exciting. Have you guys had luck playing with these new summoners and monsters?!? Lmk below…and hopefully the DQ chest gods are a tad kinder to you than they were to me today.

Congratulations on making it to Diamond league. That's impressive. Hopefully one day I can make it up that league too. And you got two Venari cards, I especially like Venari Bonesmith for Equalizer matches where I pair him and Ancient Licht with The Gorlodon.
I agree. These Chaos Legion cards are really changing the game with the new starter deck cards, new market cards, and new abilities.
So how did you fare this season? Any luck on your EOS rewards?!?
This season was pretty great. I used some rentals to push myself into Gold III for the first time, so it was nice to get 22 chests this time around. The EOS gods were kind and gave me two more Venari duplicates, Heatsmith and Bonesmith. I really like Bonesmith so that was a pleasant surprise. The Death Splinter in general feels a lot stronger after this recent Chaos Legion release. I like that, instead of just Bortus from Water Splinter, we can also use Thaddius Brood from Death Splinter to decrease enemy magic. How were your EOS rewards?
My EOS rewards were a tad lackluster, but I was happy to make it further in The ranking up to Diamond III. So that’s good and gives me a bar to reach again.

Keep on keeping in. CL prices are so low abd will probably get lower upon release of the general sale. Folks who aren’t maxing out their cards then will be doing themselves a great disservice as it’s a tremendously cheap entry point that will allow a whole new slew of players (myself included) to venture on into Diamond and Champion. Pretty well! An epic and a few rares in silver, so I definitely can't complain!
Tasty! I feel a little let down with my rewards but the truth is that I still need a bunch to level em up…so I should be so hard on my pulls.
RNG is such a fickle thing.

Congrats! I too just hit Diamond III. Went from Bronze I to Diamond III this season. Mostly thanks to dropping a ton of money in the Chaos presale. 😂
When I finally decided to open my packs I went from Silver I (had already worked up to this point before release) to Gold II in a day. So much winning. :D I got pretty far into Gold I next but then hit a pretty atrocious losing streak that sent me back to Gold II. But over the last couple days I've managed a steady climb through Gold I to finally Diamond III. I'm debating just waiting till season end before playing anymore so I don't derank at the worst moment haha. But at the same time I do feel like I could keep progressing... I lose more but I still win plenty it seems.
What Chaos cards and splinters have you found most success with?
I've been jumping all over haha. But I think I actually like some of the new death cards a lot. Always a water fan and do okay with fire/life. Haven't done much with Earth. I will play Dragon almost every time it is available though.

I feel like I completely lack skill on Life (ironic huh) & then Death. I need a ton of work with those but the others, I feel like I hold my own pretty good. I have a decent deck prior to CL that was getting me into Gold I regularly, so there's that I guess. Hoping to make it to Diamond II this season. You coming with me brother?!?!?!?
First time anywhere near Diamond haha. I am going to try to go with you to Diamond II. We will go all the way to Champion eventually! 😅 I'll have to come up with a little more CP but I think I may be able to manage it a little at a time.
Not off to a great start this season though, de-ranked to Silver I yesterday. But I'll get back on track.

Diamond III is where I ended up. I am going to try my best to get to II this season. I think it will be better once I max out the cards from CL in January....along with everYone else. Ugh...on second thought...

I find it easier to play in Champions, but it could be mental. It is all so chaotic now :)
