My ChAoS LeGiOn Gold Foil Legendary Pulls
Last night I stayed up so I could rip open some packs and try my luck at the newest expansion into Splinterlands, Chaos Legion. Getting to bed after 4 am sucks...especially getting up at 8...but I'm happy overall with my pulls so far and that enough will power me through the day.
I ended up opening just shy of 1200 packs. The initial plan was going to be around half of that, but I have no willpower and was a Fiend as I tore open pack after pack...searching for other Fiends...gold ones to get exact. So I'm going to show ya how my luck played out in my first foray into Chaos.
I was unlucky on my RNG and received 0 extra Gold Foil Blight's (or Regular Foil's for that matter) outside the one I had coming from the presale. I did not expect to get any extra so no disappointment there.
It took me several hundred packs in before I ripped open my first Gold Foil Legendary. This sucka got my blood pumping at around 12:30 am.
I love the 0 Mana cards...I use the Chicken all the time to get lumped up. So I know I'll be using all of these Fiends like crazy.
At this point it took another 500 plus packs before I yanked another. I felt like an addict looking for his next hit. What can I say besides...
Seriously though. I yanked Mr. Hellondale and felt like I was riding high.
Until just a few packs later when I might have audibly shouted, waking up all in the house. Boom!
Quix the Devious looks to be a Summoner that will be in high demand. His stats are fantastic and to be honest, I'm just thrilled to have new cards in my deck to play with...let alone ones that are nearing $2k already.
How did you fare on your pulls? Any awesome cards you'd like to share??? I would love to see em!
Now the wait for my next batch of packs which won't come until the end of the Voucher airdrop in round 2. Argh! Patience Blewitt...patience...
Wow, you did all right with the gold cards. I haven't opened any yet, getting ready to start though. My measly 330 packs will have to do. It was all I could get with the vouchers I earned in the first 30 day airdrop. But there are more coming, so we'll see.
On another note, I watched the Nets take down the Mavs last night. Gotta be honest, I was rooting for the Mavs since you guys are still in first place over us, lol. Our star scorer Derozen and our recently returned White are both out with covid, so that sucks.

I like Dallas. They have been my second favorite team for…I’d say from when Nash and Dirk were jamming together….and how does one not love Luka?!?
I totally missed the Chicago game but kudos to them. They seem really exciting this year. Can’t believe I haven’t seen em in action at all yet.
I like the Mavs too, we are going to Galveston in January and we have tickets to a Mavs/Bulls game. I'm looking forward to it!
Our teams are doing good - Nets in 4th and Bulls in 5th in the League. But dang those Warriors and Suns, lol.

I've opened some of mine. Got a couple of golds and legendaries, but not the combination of both in one card. No Doc Blight for me though. It must be tedious to do hundreds of openings. They need a bulk option.
Dr. Blight is promo card, you will not get in packs.
You can open upto 200 packs in a single transaction.
Gotcha. Better luck next round. As for Blight’s…I have been scooping up ones popping up on the market that are a bargain. Do you rent out your extra cards as well?
I should be able to get more packs on this next phase, so maybe I can qualify for the airdrop. I am renting out most of my cards and playing was taking up too much time. Got a nice income from it.

Thx man! To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect as it’s my first time participating to this degree. Seeing others on discord show their extreme good fortune or their complete lack of luck, had me worried. But I’m happy with my pulls as they seemed average.
Quix seems to be the chase legendary in the set, but I love that corpse fiend too!!! Great Pull!
How did you fare overall for the presale?
Very well. I bought 100 packs, and I ended up with a GFL Queen M, and a couple of GF General Sloans. I think I ended up with something around 8 Legendaries-- I have never had a pack opening go this smoothly. And once I opened a Foil Ugin in a box of Fate Unforged.
