Over 400 matches and still in bronze.

Title says it all. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong here, but every time I reach bronze 1 I hit a road block a drop all the way back down to bronze 3. Do I have to have a good card pool for every element or do I stick to one element and get good cards for it???
