Life Sapper: Equalizer Master!

For this week's battle challenge, we have the life sapper. A card that is really meta in silver in the equalizer ruleset. It is also quite helpful in low mana matches given it has two magic damage at three mana in silver league. As usual, we will examine the card stats and then breakdown a battle using the life sapper effectively.

Life Sapper

Life leech is common for the death team and makes this card an easy play in low mana matchups. Getting it to level 4 is a game changer with that plus one magic. This is a monster you definitely need to protect as it can get eliminated with one hit, however if it gets rolling it wins games for you. The redemption at the highest level can produce some crazy low mana redemption teams for death as well. Now we will get into a breakdown of the battle. Round 1

Equalizer is the best ruleset for life sapper especially at level 4 with the two magic. My opponent brought alot of DPS but no heals which plays into my favor given my haunted spirit with heal as well as the two life leech monsters. In round 1, everything goes as planned with my spirit healing up and dealing out the DPS from the backline.

Round 2

This round both of our tanks go down bringing the oshannus and my priest into the first position. The one magic attack from bonesmith is disheartening as he cannot life leech but by the end of the round the life sapper is at 12 health which is three higher than any other monster on the board.

Round 3

In round 3, we get through the oshannus which was pretty much the last line of defense. My life leech monsters will go to the front with some serious health allowing my archers to still fire in the backline.

Round 4

We wittle away at his wavesmith and finish this round with more than 35 health between all our monsters which is too much for his nerissa. The match ends in round 6 and the life sapper prevails again in the equalizer ruleset.

The life sapper is really a nice usable card in several instances with low mana and equalizer being where it shines. It is a must have card for all bronze and silver players in my opinion. Please upvote or comment if you have any other rulesets you like to use this monster in.
