Hello! This post is for the entry of Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. For this post, an interesting battle that would allow only the cards from the newest set is featured.

Battle Info

Rank: Modern Novice - Rebellion Only - No Legendary
Avaliable Type: Life, Dragon
Mana: 31
Up to Eleven: All units have the Amplify ability.
Target Practice: All ranged and magic units gain the Snipe ability.
Blood and Sunder: All units have Corrosive Ward.

The ruleset was not really interesting here since they are not really important, however only Life Element and Dragon Element was available which was a huge problem since this tournament didn't allow Legendries and therefore dragon cards because Akane, a legendary dragon summoner is the only dragon summoner in rebellion set until now.

My Lineup

Summoner: Chuul Jujinchi. For 3 mana it allows two elements to be used: Earth and Life, but only Life cards are able to be used. They both has good tank healers but in this battle most of them are not able to be used.

First positon: Great Porcupine. It is a new epic rebellion monster with close range from level 1, meaning it could be used at the first position.

Second position: Pallus. I put Great Porcupine at the front to use Pallus' Reach ability. It can attack from second position, and it has 3 melee attack and also flying ability.

Third position: Harbinger of Chaos. For 8 mana it has 3 magic attack and Divine Shield. Because of the ruleset it would be targeted a lot of times.

Fourth position: Meriput Magician. Tank Heal works well in rebellion only tournaments, since they also has limited sets of cards. However there is no tanky cards in my lineup though.

Fifth position: Moxian Rebel. There were 4 mana left, so I just used a card with a magic attack. I could've used different cards for 4 mana, but I only had this one.

Round 1

The enemy monsters were revealed and I was not happy with the enemies summoner selection, but I should have thought about it. Avina gives a monster Heal which restores half its max health. They also went for Moxian Rebel and two monsters with no attack, and they also gave heal to Ulundin Overseer. Also the front monster had shield which would be a problem.

Round 1 started and we took some blows. Enemy Albahoo Forester was taken down by our Harbinger of chaos, and Enemy Moxian Rebel were also the same. Meanwhile the first monster, Great Porcupine was also taken down by enemy Grimbardun Fighter.

Round 2

With 4 vs 2 monsters left, it looked like there was a huge lead, however the enemy Uldndin Overseer kept healing. We kept dealing blows back and forth until Round 4.

Round 4

Finally, in this round, enemy Grimbardun Fighter was taken down. Since e the total damage output in each round (8) is higher than the enemies healing amount (4), the battle just ended here.

Thoughts about this battle

Rebellion Only tournaments are tournaments that I don't like to participate. Although I forgot to submit the second round battle so I ended up in a pretty bad spot, this battle was really interesting to me for the fact that Tank Heal did made a difference here. For 5 mana I could've went for monsters with 2 attacks, but Tank Heal seems to be just important in most battles.
