How to dominate 'poisoned' battle in bronze league liv 1 cards (rank 1589)

Hello bronze players, I'm very happy to share some of my best strategies as they happen. This will be one of them, not only I was played using liv. 1 cards but also I was facing a very well organized and smart opponent.
Winning this battle brought me at 1589 points in rank, was a win streak also and it game me a huge satisfation about how I played it.
In this contest there is a 30 mana avaiable and poison will be applyed every turn.

STRATEGY

The main focus is on high healt monsters and self healing, the main reason you need self healing is that cheap monsters with healing have usually low healt and they wuold be killed by poison in no time.
So I went for 'albatros' in first position to gain a turn, than 'gelatinous cube' that heal itself when any monster die, the infamous 'sea monster' with self healing, big health and crazy melee, then there is 'captain ghost' with high health and affliction (make and opponent unable to heal itself), than water elemental for 5 mana cost has also self healing and it's an amazing card to cover your back.

BATTLE

I saw my opponent was very strong and loves to play magic cards so I went 'bortus' for -1 magic attack and eventually nerf him.
He showed up with a fire summoner, very well organized and with also a strong magic card as 'efreet elder' wich has 8 healt and also last stand, it was put purposely in last position (if I had not put 'bortus' I wuold have lost), than there was 'fineas rage' that is one of the strongest card in the game in second position to support the immancable selfhealed 'cerberus' ahead.
