Insidious Warlock - Buy, Play & Earn.

Hey guyz,

Um back people with another blog post in HIVE where I'm going to showcase one of splinterlands battle with Insidious Warlock.

Note: After playing with Temporal master for splinterlands weekly battle challenge, I was thinking of give another monster with the same ability a chance and that's when I chose this monster as it has the recharge ability as well.

I didn't have this monster in my card collection so I went to the market and I bought a regular version of this card with 0.337$ and I paid 352.123 DEC to buy this. And now I have a Insidious Warlock in my card collection as well.

I did this transaction and I spent 352.123 DEC in buying the regular card.

Insidious Warlock is an epic death monster of chaos legion edition with magic attack for what this monster can attack from any position no matter what rule the battle has, it has five health and two speed with a single magic attack in level one. Comparison to Temporal Master, this monster is far better as it has more than double health.

And this monster has this Recharge ability that allows this monster damaging three times but attacks every other round.

This is an ability that I don't like a lot as sometimes the monster can't even stay alive till the second round so the monster having this ability may be a waste in that case.

My lineup for this battle:

Battle 01

So after using Thaddius brood as summoner which is a chaos legion summoner, I chose two melee monsters first, Cursed windeku and undead badger and then I chose Insidious warlock at the last position and it was well fitted with the remaining mana.

The enemy team also chose a fantastic lineup and it was almost same as my lineup where the enemy team also chose two melee monsters first and then used a magic monster just the difference was, the enemy chose two melee monsters where one couldn't attack from the second position and my melee monster from the second position could attack for having sneak ability.

My Insidious warlock started charging from this round so that it can do a 3X attack in the next round and that's when the boom will happen. And there's this monster from the enemy team, the magic attacker who did the first attack in this battle and this monster looks quite good having two abilities in the first level and I investigated, there's an ability that doesn't allow this monster to get hit as long as it comes to the first position. I think I'll select this monster later to write a post.

So friendly monster team lost the Undead Badger and the enemy team lost the Carrion Shade in the first round and now it looks more interesting as both team had almost same monsters with almost same power just the difference was that my Insidious warlock will attack 3X this time.

And voila! the enemy team lost their Cursed windeku which looked like its shield and now they have only one monster left when I had two. And my Insidious warlock started recharging again and it didn't need to attack again as my Cursed windeku killed the last monster when Insidious warlock was ready to attack.

The battle ended in round 4 and Cursed windeku of the friendly monster team killed the last monster of the enemy monster team and there came victory. My battle strategy worked well in this case.

Battle 02

So after using Thaddius brood as summoner again as I don't have a better death summoner, I chose four melee attackers and two magic attackers and I placed Insidious warlock at the fourth position where it had three monsters this side and two monsters on the other side so that it gets increased chance of not getting hit.

The enemy team also chose five monsters and it already looked weaker to me than what I have selected.

My Insidious warlock died early in this battle although it killed an enemy monster before dying. Then rest of my monsters did well throughout the battle and I had three monsters alive when the enemy monster failed and there was the Life sapper monster in my team that kept increasing its health for its life leech ability (I might talk about this monster someday).

The battle ended in round 7 and Cursed windeku of the friendly monster team killed the last monster of the enemy monster team and there came victory.
