Sea Monster | The Best NFT In The Game?

Hello guys, today we will be looking at the Sea Monster and its effectiveness in battle. When I started playing the game, the first levelled-up card I owned was the Sea Monster level three. Since then, I’ve been playing the Sea Monster every chance I get. It is a strong self-healing tank, which is awesome to use in almost all battles and rule sets. But before we talk more about the sea monster let's break down what the game Splinterlands is for the newbs.

What is Splinterlands?

Splinterlands is a digital blockchain card game that allows you to collect, trade, battle, rent, and even earn on their trading card NFTs. It is one of the most generous games that I have seen where card NFTs and (Dark Energy Crystals (DEC)) cryptocurrency is given out every day, to every player for just playing and completing daily quests. Splinterlands is one of the first blockchain-based collectible games. Although I started playing the game quite late, I’ve had my eye on the Splinterlands market for over a year. Anyway, no need to worry, there are so many opportunities no matter when you start.

Sea Monster

When we look at tanks to be used in the first position, the Sea Monster is surely notable. It is a great card that provides eight health and four melee attack at a mana cost of only eight while also healing itself every round. There are very few cards that provide so much value for your money. It is not just about the mana cost and health being equal, but also about the regeneration of health every round. I use the Sea Monster every chance I get and win more battles than I lose. Yes, I lose, and the only reason for that is the Sea Monster’s slow speed. Due to the slow speed, if the opponent's team targets the Sea Monster all at once, then they could wipe out the Sea Monster before it even attacks, let alone regenerate. That is the only drawback, and it can be countered by slowing your enemy’s team or by making your team faster.

Sea Monster – Beast Mode (Silver/Gold)

The Sea Monster is one of the only monsters with the healing ability right from level one. As it levels up, the stats become further impressive. I play my Sea Monster at level three in gold/silver because the extra one health allows the sea monster to heal three health per round instead of the original two health per round. Healing three health per round allows you to often heal more health back per round than the enemy team is dealing, resulting in a guaranteed win. Another reason I play the Sea Monster at level three is that you only need a level two summoner to play him, and I already have Kelya Frendul at level two.
