My Splinterlands win

avatar

Yesterday was actually an amazing time I had playing the Splinterlands game.
I just remember the first time downloading and playing Splinterlands some nine days ago after reading a post from @josediccus.

No lies at all, after I downloaded the game, I was just excited and the excited make jump straight into the game.
I wanted to just experience the fun I've been reading and guess what? It wasn't nice at all.
As soon as the fight starts, was just as soon as I kept losing.
Okay that's enough for today, I was even thinking that when I exhaust Mana, that's the end. As you know for a beginner without any prior knowledge, you just have to run from the unknown and that's what I did, I just left Splinterlands.

Last night, I just tracked I haven't learnt how to play splinterlands, so let's check out practice (I wasn't actually interested in learning, I just wanted to win).
Got to learn from the practice although I didn't still understand, my head was just in the game, just to defeat my opponent.
I deduced get a strong front and back man.
I know I'm still shady.
My first game was terrifying, I kept hitting the front man of my opponent but his life reduced then added.
Damn, I'm gonna lose and I lost.

I just had my first win last night, I couldn't share because I didn't think I'd actually win so I didn't screenshot my play- I'm only certain that I engage Pyre as learnt from practice.
Imagine footballers playing a match without practicing, that's what I've been doing.
So I chose Pyre - Living Lava, Magma Troll, Spy serpent, Elven Mystic and Fire Element last night and won after losing five times.

Waking up this morning, I said let's go in again.
Not at the first play that I won, still trying to workout what I understand, would probably go and practice after making this post.
So I chose Pyre as usual Living Lava, Cyclops, Serpent Soldier and Grumpy Dwarf with 24/25 mana against Mavii.

It was time to rumble and it's 6 against 4. Art of war played out here even though I was very skeptical. It's not about number but strategy (if I had lost I wouldn't be saying this, I won anyway, lol)

No lies, I just got to understand the strategy but I still hold this amateur win for the moment.

just try to learn WHY you lost, if you can understand that, you can adapt, concentrate your fire: so go all out on the tank, go all sneak or all snipe, don't spread your fire because you want those enemy cards to be killed a.s.a.p.

just read a lot and learn. I wrote a little piece for starting players, maybe it'll help you https://www.splintertalk.io/@nozem01/what-cards-for-beginners-and-some-tactics

It can take time but experiencing some losses will help you be able to make up your own strategy to winning more.

You can watch tutorials on youtube if you have the time.

Wiah you best of luck on your splinterland journey
