Are you thinking people are going to just want to buy and hold SPS? I mean big price swings wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, but beyond just pumping and dumping I wonder what their motivation would be.

I am thinking Splinterlands can make some marketing noise on Base chain where there is already over four billion dollars in TVL. Also, if SPS is available on Base chain then when crypto really becomes mainstream and Base is integrated into Coinbase the flood of money that will come in will buy up tokes on Base chain. If we are not there we don't have a chance to get a piece of that pie.
If gaming becomes a hot narrative at that time you would be easily able to see what gaming tokens are listed on Base and buy SPS. And you know if that causes SPS to pump to something crazy like a dollar I wouldn't mind unloading part of my SPS holdings :)
And it is a really inexpensive on-ramp for Fiat from USA which is a first time for Splinterlands.
