What Luck!

Talk about an awesome drop for completing a daily quest. I can't quite remember the last time I was this lucky. I think the only thing that could have made this better is if one of the cards had been a gold foil. Especially the Djinn Oshannus.

It's actually a bit funny, becuase I just picked up three of that legendary card this past weekend. I was sitting at home watching some American Football and talking to @slobberchops on Discord. We spent the better part of (my) morning talking about all things Splinterlands.

@slobberchops and I have both been involved with Splinterlands since the first battles were taking place and it was called that other name which we shall not name. We may not have the same amount of money invested as others on here, but in terms of time, we would probably both be considered whales.

Remember when daily quests dropped Beta cards? This is probably the most exciting drop I have had since those days. Oh, by the way, this was Gold III. Not bad for only getting to flip six chests right? The RNG (random number gods) were definintely on my side this day.

I used to be able to push up into the Diamond levels and occasionaly the Champion III tier, but that all changed when I started to rent out a lot of my cards. I still keep enough playable so I can get up to Gold II each season and do my best to help out my guild in brawls.

Alright, I will keep this short. I just wanted to share my good luck. It seems like lately rewards haven't been as good as they used to be. Then you get a pull like this and it kind of lights that fire back under you to keep going. I look forward to the first battle I get to use that legendary card in!

Cool stuff. I've had a few djinns, but I'm not playing lately due to renting most of my good cards. I do miss getting the quest cards though. I could only get to Diamond III with all my cards available when I got much higher before the limits came in. They had to do something to deal with the bots, but then they still tolerate them. I don't really want to play against bots, but some games are more about money than gameplay. I find that a bit sad.

I think you are going to get a mix of people that enjoy different parts. I have started to migrate more towards the brawls even though I don't always do that great at them. I think we will see more play options when lands open up too. I imagine there will always be people drifting back and forth between the different aspects of the game and playing because they enjoy it or because it earns them something. It likely just depends on the day many times...

I was doing brawls too and still support the guild by contributing to buildings. When you see accounts buying thousands of the new packs you have to assume it's more about money for them. I can't complain about what I have made from the game though. I played it anyway when I hardly made anything as it was fun. For now I just needed a break to do other things.

Definitely a sweet pull. I would have taken any of those four cards on my quest rewards tonight. 7 chests. 4 DEC rewards totalling 59 DEC, 2 Leg Pots, and 1 GF pot. Not a single card. So much for 50/50...
