My #HivePUD for Nov 2021

It's the 1st of the month again...

... and that means Hive Power Up Day

I've stored up a nice little chunk of HIVE from the @playdice & @incubot power downs (since some wanky overlords have decided that they don't like it and downvote every game to 0 making it quite pointless to play anymore).

I've still got 4 more weeks of power downs on those accounts, so I should have another sweet power up on 1 Dec... the % power-up though will be smaller in Dec... or I might actually use all that liquid HIVE to by some Chaos Legion @Splinterlands packs :P

What IS Splinterlands?

What is #HivePUD?

In case you missed it, there's a challenge of sorts for all Hivers to Power up their HIVE to HIVE Power on the 1st of every month. @TraciYork leads this challenge and you can read more about it on her blog and for earning badges, check out @hivebuzz

While it's more of a social challenge, there ARE some cool prizes up for grabs, if you follow a few simple rules:

What are the rules to win prizes for HivePUD?

  • Your reputation must be above 39 and below 70.
    Your total Hive Power (before the 1st) must be more than 100 and less than 8000.
  • You must power up at least 10 Hive on the 1st.
  • You must write a post about your power up on October 1st with the tag #HivePUD (International) or #HPUD (Hispanic).

To be included in the winners list, you must meet all four requirements above. The order of the list (first place, second place, and so on) will be determined by the biggest PERCENTAGE of Hive powered up, not necessarily the most Hive powered up.

Good to see the HP from Playdice and Incubot being used for something good instead of just sitting there ^^

Just a pity I can't use it to distribute it across all the players like before... I actually ran the math, and it turns out that I put MORE fiat into the system than what eventually got powered down at the end... #RollsEyes

Anyway... maybe we'll get a true 2nd-layer running soon enough and then I can channel all that HP back to the game... who knows ;-)

Ye kinda a shame. But Hive just have different rules than Steemit and thats it :D
It might even be for the better

Great post and an awesome power up. I don't think you'll reach a top 3 place (because for an user with lower HP it is easier to get a higher % HP increase) but still pretty nice 🔥

P.S. When I said I was hoping for 3rd or 4th instead of 1st, I meant on your competition. Fairly sure that a ~20%, while pretty decent, is not gonna feature anywhere near the top on the overall #HivePUD power ups ;-)
