A Deeplurker Lurks - A Splinterlands poem
Here's a poem about the Deeplurker, based entirely on the lore provided by the Splinterlands team. Because...why not! Also, I'm hopeful that these little snippet-like poems can help more of the Splinterland community enjoy some of the amazing lore the team has created. Hope you enjoy and please give me feedback in the comments! :)
A DEEPLURKER LURKS
Spying from beneath the water
Swimhunters ready for slaughter
Eyeing an unsuspecting vessel
They’ll board with no more than a wrestle
But further beneath them a jitter
When they look all they see is a glitter
Then all of a sudden a surge
A rising creature does emerge
It rolls out its enormous tongue
Frozen are those who’ve not yet sprung
The Deeplurker tears into Kulu meat
Like a child devouring a tasty treat
Then in a flash, the beast is gone
And the Praetorian vessel sails on
Blissfully ignorant of what had occurred
And the peril it could have incurred
