Peakmonsters Land Market is AWESOME - Quick review

The awesome team over at Peakmonsters recently released their Land Market, and while it's still in Beta, it's already awesome. It is a glimpse into how Peakmonsters will heavily feature in Land, just as it has in cards for years. Let me explain.

(1) You can (currently) find deals in the land market that are better than on Hive Engine. Ok fine, they're already assigned deeds so it's not a random plot and therefore not 100% equivalent, BUT the Splinterlands team has very clearly said all parts of the map will have roughly equal utility, so I see this as a pure discount. As expected, Peakmonsters already delivers a better buying experience than the in-game marketplace.

Right now, you can buy a plot on the Land Market for $124 while on Hive Engine the price is $130. I've checked in a few times in the past week and there have been even better deals on occasion. Peakmonsters makes it exceedingly easy to find these deals.

(2) You can switch to region view to see the prices by region. Since at the moment there aren't a ton of details on how the regions will work, interact, etc. the pricing is highly variable and probably not indicative of anything, but as soon as more information comes out this should be a very useful view.

(3) You can very quickly open the map view to get a bird's eye view of the beautiful land of praetoria. And since Peakmonsters isn't dealing with a tech modernization migration, you're not going to face long loaders.

(4) The UX is clean, beautiful, performant, and functional. Just like the rest of Peakmonsters. Unlike the Splinterlands website, which is designed as a game at its core, Peakmonsters has a minimalist and clean design which it uses consistently across its features.
