How to take down Alric Stormbringer (Level 1 Team)
The magic line up
- Alric Stormbringer (Special benefits +1 magic to all magic charters)
- Frozen Soldier (Special benefits shield reduced melee and ranged attacks)
- Serpent Of Eld (Special benefits Dodge increased chance to dodge melee and ranged attacks)
- Medusa
Enchanted Pixie (Special benefits flying increased chance to dodge melee and ranged attacks from non flying monsters) - Elven Mystic
- Ice Pixie (Special benefits flying increased chance to dodge melee and ranged attacks from non flying monsters)
The killer line up
- Owster Rotwell (Special benefits reflects magic attacks to all magic charters)
- Nightmare (Special benefits blast does additional damage to the next enemy monster)
- Spineback Wolf (Special benefits Reach can attack from 2nd place)
Undead Priest (Special benefits Weaken reduces 1 health point from every enemy monster while alive)
Undead Archer (Special benefits Affliction when attack hits has a chance to stop the struck enemy from healing) - Twisted Jester (Special benefits Snipe Targets non frontline enemy)

The why
So why the choice of my summoner. The reason I Have chosen Owster Rotwell is that he has magic reflect and I felt if would be a waste for my opens not to maximise their players to use magic based on Alric having the benefit of magic +1 this means every time his magic team hits my charters they are going to reflect a hit back meaning I would get both my attacks and a bonus hit for the majority of Alrics lineup.
The Result
The main struggle in this match was the Frozen soldier as firstly it didn’t use magic so my reflect was no use and secondly it has a special shield which kept making my hits do zero damage however due to having blast and reflect I was taking the rest of the team down with ease which then let me dispatch the two enemy melee charters with my range team.
Next time I will likely include one magic charter to take care of Frozen Soldier type charters and then this tactic would be even more effective

Getting the strategy right is tricky. I do find some of the newer summoners have more useful skills, but I already built up the old ones and it's going to cost a lot to get others. I just have to get by with what I have. I have done well with Water, but then I have a few healing cards that can keep my fighters healthy. I still get beaten a lot though.
