Splinterlands - Winning with the Starter Cards
Part 2 of Documenting my Journey into Splinterlands without spending anything.
Was heading into a battle where I had to use fire for my daily quest. The other team used a bunch of different types so there was no way to get a read on them. Rules were normal with a 26 mana cap, went pretty aggressive with my choices.
Before any attacks happened this is what the outlook was.
Being a new player I thought i was done for but i didn't realize i was overrating the value of armor.
By the end of the battle I had dominated!
I wonder if it was my strategy that was good or if they just were bad, let me know what you think!

Great job! Definitely possible winning with only the starter cards, at least in the bronze tier.
I'll definitely follow these series, it's really interesting to see how fast can one dedicated player go with only the initial spellbook investment.
It's also going to be really interesting when Chaos Legion comes out and the starter cards are replaced, to see a whole new lot of strategies in the lower tiers.
