Addressing Bot Farms in Splinterlands: A Proposal for Minimizing Exploitation

Dear Splinterlands Community,

I wanted to share an idea that I've been pondering as a potential solution to minimize the prevalence of bot farms within our beloved game. While complete bot bans and KYC measures have their merits, I believe there might be another approach worth considering.

What if we introduce a minimum CP requirement in wild, but one that can only be achieved through ownership and not by renting? This means that players would need to possess a certain amount of CP in their collection to participate.
Renting additional cards beyond the minimum requirement would still be allowed, but ownership of the minimum CP would be mandatory.

In my view, it is crucial to ensure that at least one of two conditions is met for players to earn rewards: actively playing the game or owning assets. It feels unfair and unsatisfying when SPS or cards are mined automatically without any genuine involvement or ownership.

I'm eager to hear your initial thoughts on this proposal. Do you believe implementing a minimum CP requirement tied to ownership could effectively deter bot farms while maintaining a fair playing field for all participants? Are there any potential challenges or drawbacks that we should consider?
