Hello splinterlands community, here is my participation in the splinterlands battle challenge using the time mage.

What happens with this card?almost 90% use it whenever they play the life deck, at least in the bronze-silver and gold leagues (which is where I am currently playing).

It is an extremely important card when you want to attack the enemy first because of its ability to "slow" and take the advantage from the beginning.

Details:

0.23$ is a low price for many, it would cost you 26.45$ to take it to the maximum level...but let's not go too far, at level 1 it is already very useful.

Preparing for battle

I will tell you the cards I chose and why I chose them.

Battle rules:

Crystal werewolf

To begin with, looking at the recently played cards of the enemy, I noticed that he played a lot the card "ruler of the seas" so a good option was this crystal werewolf to lower the magic damage and that the blast of the enemy did not hurt my team too much.

Time Mage

The protagonist of this battle, thanks to her my team was able to attack first and take the lead in the battle.

Celestial Harpy

Of all the chaos editions, of the "rare" cards this one is my favorite, its low mana cost and flying ability and opportunism make it perfect for this low mana battle.

Stitch Leech

To finalize the stitch leech, the most effective way to take advantage of the "enrage" battle rule is to use melee damage cards and if it has sneak or opportunity ability, all the better.

Tyrus Paladium

And last , the summoner, for this battle I used tyrus just in case the enmigo used melee damage, at least I would have +1 shield point to protect me.

Start of the battle

My assumption was not wrong (I will also have the powers of "time mage" to see the time? hahahaha), the enemy played water-magic and played "ruler of the seas".

This is where it is most noticeable how good the enrage ability is with melee damage cards.

Key points of the battle:

the crystal werewolf did its job very well by lowering the enemy's magic damage, this prevented him from being killed quickly and at the same time did not damage my time mage with the "blast" ability as much.

But here the most important work was done by the time mage who slowed down the enemy, this prevented the enemy's legendary card from attacking first and gave the opportunity for my two cards with Opportunity and Sneak to attack the enemy's ranks and weaken them.
