Riftwatchers Info Galore! Dates, Cards, Abilities, & More!

I think Splinterlands is getting to greedy. With them doubling the cost from $2 Untaimed packs to $4 Chaos packs, about 75% of the time you lose money from buying card packs as the 5 cards are not worth $4. Now they are going up to $5 for Riftwatcher packs, does that mean you will lose even more money from the packs?

I know the market sets the prices of cards and not Splinterlands but where does it end? Will the next card series be $6 then $7 then $8 and on until it is totally out of line? Maybe they should start thinking about the little guy instead of everything they do catering to the whales.

At $2 a pack CL packs would gross about $25 million and would have sold out by now. At $3 a pack for Riftwatchers they would gross about $7 million and probably sell out in the first month to 2 months, we will see how it goes when they hit the market.

I can get Topps baseball cards for less then $3 a pack and have 6 physical cards that I can hold in my hand and those cards are timeless. How long will this game last then what will the cards be worth?

Sorry for my rant on your post, it looks like several cool cards that I wont be able to afford but I do wish the team much success.

I agree with @maddogmike . Prices of packs is too much. Little guys could not afford this prices. So whales becomes bigger and small fish will leave the game as I’ve done.

And that’s sad, because I think the game is great with good mechanics! I like it.
