One of the most amazing things for me is that he has 3 speed. That is really decent for a minion like him and with Quix as new summoner (that most of us can afford) he actually has a good chance to deal his damage and not miss. When the enemy is not too fast, maybe even as one of the first and kill an enemy before he can even attack.
