not sure how much credits will be in rewards, but i think it was a smart move as it gives opportunity for players that want to invest in their deck to buy cards on the market but makes it much harder for "bots" to just sell it off.

Brilliant stuff man, and I agree completely.
I think the reason why we see a split in the community about the changes is that...Nothing like Splinterlands has ever existed before.
Each gamer comes from a different school of thought on how a game should be played. In fact, I think this entire this is a combination of multiple models, thrown together and we've fallen in love with it.
They will be growing pains because...It's never been done before.
What a downer. It feels like new players are being punished with the incoming update.
I think the people running the show know what they are doing. Splinterlands sees all the math in the backend so it's hard to have an opinion about the right direction of the game. I'm sure they know what best for the economy of the game. Thanks for the update.
