Hey there again fellas from Praetoria and HIVE. Hoping you are all good and having the fun of your life right now. Another Guild Brawl just recently ended with that, I gain additional assets to my account. Although my progress seems like a turtle's run, It still is good as long that I gain positively and less stress. I am avoiding things that will just turn problem later on even for games. So It really is for pure fun and achieving little milestone on the process. With that, let's see what the recent Guild Brawl brought me.

Ok, I guess I perform well for this round with a single lost in 8 battles giving me 4200 merits and more than 34 SPS in the process.

Our guild placed second with just a bit low on the points from grabbing the first. Really came up a little short there.

Since I am not opening chests that came from the reward shop at the moment, concentrated my glint rewards for some reward cards, I am not accumulating that much merit points right now. My merit points depended on the Guild brawl right now so accumulating Gladius cards will be a little slow right now. I afford 2 gladius cases so lets see what will it give me.

Battle Sample For Edith Emberstar

Probably one of my un used epic cards in my collection is Edith Emberstar. Why is that, well basically I don't have a summoner that can always pick her up especially in modern and with the same level, it was outclass with other Epic cards like Qoura of earth splinters. But don't get me wrong, It is still a great card that is just required some rules for its battle. Well, in this battle, I believed that Edith will be useful because it can dominate or function well with this situation. I am still fighting it out with Fray 1 that is mainly for foundation cards in our guild battle plus the allowed gladius cards. So lets see the set up and out come of the battle.

Close Range and Briar patch are on the rulesets plus the 39 mana capacity limit. My opponent and my team chose the same Splinters. Water splinters will be our main team fighting each other. Since water splinters are dominating Magic attacks in the frontier rank, my opponent built it's team magic based damage majorly wherein I added Edith Emberstar on my offensive layout. Why did I do that? One thing is it got a good amount of range damage plus it cannot never be restricted in throwing attacks even if it will become in the tank most position. Add to the booth that it got a Bloodlust ability. With that in mind, Edith Emeberstar, joined my team in this battle.

Round 2 is where Edith Emberstar gained its footing and the Bloodlust is activated. It is a good thing that it was triggered before it was being decimated by the sneak attacks from my opponents team. With that, although I am still at the disadvantage, having a 6 Ranged attack damage that came from my level 2 Edith Emberstar is a good source of confidence for defeating the opponent. Well, I just hope it wont missed in attacking.

Here might be the situation where I can say my team won the battle in round 3. Taking out the Saltwater Mage of the opponent is crucial in having the advantage for this battle. It really is a close one for this battle and to be honest, it is not that easy to completely dominated battles in guild brawl that involve foundation cards with the same level. It really is is just a little room to win with each battle while facing old good players.

• Well, this is that to show that Edith Emberstar are one of those cards in splinterlands that are picky to be summoned. Before you even use them, make sure they fit the situation.
