Hey there again Splinter-buds and HIVEees! Hoping you are enjoying your rest this weekend and being recharged for the incoming weekdays! Guild Brawl was again concluded and I am here again sharing results for our guild brawl battles! Lets see if we had a good one this time around.

My participation produced 21 points that is having a single defeat on a 8 battles. I am rewarded with 3900 merits and almost 39 SPS. We can only say thank you right? No complaints at all. lol.

We still haven't touch the highest step of the podium but ended up 2nd placed. Still good with our Guild effort. Maybe next time we can have the first spot, hopefully. We just have to try again and again. There is no harm doing that on guild brawls. We just have to enter fray, wait, battle then wait, then repeat the process. Just make sure that we are on a guild to do this.

So I had saved around more than 5k merits and that gives me a chance to own gladius cards that I seek. I just hope I will have them though. 2 Gladius Packs is my limit for this buying time.

No luck for those shiny gold foil legendaries or epics but still have an Epic RF Edith Emeberstar. Not that much fan of this card but still a descent one to have on your offensive strategy for water splinters in guild brawl. That damage is not to belittle. And think of it when the blood lust was triggered? Simply deadly.

I have enough to make it to level 2 and since I am a fray 1 Frontier only brawler, This level is good of a boost to my splinter collection.

Guild Brawl Sample Battle

This is a battle where you are not going to look at the cards abilities. It
is because of the presence of the Back to Basic in the rulesets. This battle will be concluded if you determine and owned the right type of card that you can play with the rulesets. Back to Basics in the rulesets seems easy as it is but very tricky to form your team. We should also take note about the Reverse speed and Earthquake into the equation because it is so hard to play these rulesets at the same time. The good part is there is only the Life splinters that was allowed with this battle so I am going to shrink my thinking on how to form a team that can contradict my opponents Life splinters that will be formed. So I started with my tank in the form of Twice Yester Knight and put, Lady Amara, Lunaki howler and Wild Horse Tamer respectively. I did this because the three mentioned cards got the best amount of heath and can do attacks at the same time with Back to Basics in the rulesets that means every ability was shut off. While thinking the said ruleset, I also took consideration of the Earthquake in the ruleset that is why I put the cards that possess the good amount of HP for survival. Celestial Guardian and Captain Katie where also part of team because of their decent magic damage. Level wise, Both me and my opponent got the highest level that we can make in frontier. We just differ in positioning and some cards. We just have to see which one will prevail.

We both lost our Front most card in round 1 and that expose the long attacking members of my team.

Now earthquake was triggered, we can see how painful that was in round 2.

In round 4 is where the battle moved into my favor because of earthquake. I still had the safe amount of HP for my team to continue until the next round but not goes to my opponent.

  • Neglecting rulesets can backfire to what you are forming in your battle. Just remember that rules are made to be a guide for your upcoming battles in splinterlands, so you must know how to handle them.
