Splinterlands Guild Brawls and Isgald Vorst as a Reaper

guild brawls (1).png

Hi there again splinter-fwens and HIVEees! Here I am again sharing some of my recent brawl experience for this past one. Also, I would like to share my guild brawl experience with Isgald Vorst from the water splinter gladius cards. One of the good opportunist card, which is I believed, in the game.

My Guild Brawl performance for this round is better from the previous rounds. Lost a 1 round from the the battle of fray 1 and ended up winning 7 fights. Got 4100 merits for the rewards equals to 2 gladius packs.

For this round of guild brawls, our guild entered the second position of the tier 3 rankings. Much better to the other battles. This also gave us a good amount of rewards.

With the merits accumulated, I really can afford 2 gladius cases this time and came short, a really little short to afford 3 gladius cases. Anyhow, its for the next time. We can always buy this packs anytime right now because they are always available from the market as long we can afford them.

Opening the two packs of gladius got me all regular foils. Although no cards that can be consider a good catch, Orella Abadon, Isgald Vorst and Witch of Warwick can be considered cards that I am fond of. So I still got descent rewards for this round.

A Guild Brawl Battle with Isgald Vorst

In my sample battle, Isgald Vorst will be my main topic. Isgald Vorst is a melee damage dealer with oppurtunity ability and bloodlust in lower levels. This battle will be between water splinters in Fray 1 which limit this fray to frontier and Gladiator cards. With water splinters not restricted, if you are familiar with the frontier set up of splinterlands, high win rate for this comes from water splinters. The magic damage of this team is really a good offensive thing for your team. I can say this probably because water splinters that I gather in the game already mostly maxed. Aside from the Jackpot cards. Those are jackpot cards we are talking here that got two percent drop rate on your daily grind.

Okay. Continuing with the battle sample, the rulesets includes Fours a Crowd and Melee Mayhem with Fog of War. So the opportunity ability of Isgald Vorst here is restricted but the Melee Mayhem will add another ability to the cards. With water splinters on the line, both me and my opponent chose the said splinters. The only difference is my opponent concentrated its offense in Magic while I add melee to the mix. Starting with New Beluroc Aegis as my tank because it got taunt ability. Using this card to divert the attacks on this card in early rounds. Mystic Scaleweaver was placed second for it got a descent amount of health and that slow ability of this card is a good one for this round. Isgald Vorst was placed next with salt water mage covering the back.

In round 1, my team knocked out the opponent's tank while my team also lost its tank later. Well, Isgald Vorst although attacked faster in this battle, it didn't do damage for it was countered.

My team's Isgald Vorst took one of the opponent's team card this round because it is the fastest card in this battle that it took the first to attack in this round. With that, the Bloodlust ability is triggered.

The Speed of Isgald Vorst really helped in this round of battle. The gladiotor card of my opponents team was defeated before it triggered its bloodlust which is good to my team.

  • Isgald Vorst is also a good card that can be collected in gladius cards. Although it is a common card, even in lower level, its already showing its value!
