Hey there splinter-fwens and HIVEeees. Hoping your enjoying the day fellas or night. I wonder how are you playing splinterlans nowadays. Collecting? Battling? or whatever it is, hope you are fulfilling your gaming requirements or enjoyment for your life. For me, I acquire another regular foil copy of Promo cards that are sold in Lyra and Lorns's exclusive shop the card Vethos Spineclaw.

Saved enough Voucher's from my SPS staked, I afforded this rare card that can boost my Earth and Water splinter respectively. I am also using Promo cards on most of my battles because of the boost to my winning rewards in every battle won on modern ranked challenged. It is also applied in Wild ranks but the gain in modern is a bit or maybe more better than in the wild. Another reason is my winning rate in wild battle ranks will just turn minimal compared to modern for the reason that my card collection specially for meta ones are a bit small. So, consuming my energy in Modern battle rank is much more worth it compared to wild.

The card is Rare in rarity and if you possessed a level 1 card it got a 3 melee damage that have Apex Strike ability that targets the enemy's most powerful card. It also possess a decent amount of HP and Armor that can be a good defender for your back, or a good front sometimes. The only thing that doesn't seems right to me is that it got a high mana requirements for summoning. Well, although it is a high mana capacity battle type of battle card, you cannot look down on its stats and besides, this card can be form with your water and earth splinters summons.

A Battle Sample with Vethos on my Team

So i am featuring Vethos performance with my battle sample with some water splinters. Lately i can grind up to Gold 3 league which is a good place for having more rewards. Unfortunately, we need to match the league tier requirements to get the 100% of those rewards. My sps stake is short for gold league rewards plus card levels are insufficient so the gains was cut from full to certain percentage. The game really is evolve to something else way back from when I started. Hopefully it can stand still with this changes applied. Ok back to my battle sample, So Loving the Moo will be my summoner and frontmost will be Coral Forged that helped Mantaroth to perform more damage. Conjurer Hubris, another promo card followed to Mantaroth because it has a magic attacking damage. Gravebrand Warlock was also summoned from death splinters because of the power of bloodline of my summoner. This card also have the good ability swiftness that can boost my team's speed for performing attacks. Saltwater Mage, its sneak magic attacks are good to use, specially I am using my summoners tactics to this card. And finally Vethos Spineclaw, the protagonist. Well, hopefully it can perform good in battle. It also the security of the back of my team. This battle is 80 mana capacity with Outsider and Heavy Hitter's in the rulesets.

My team is against the water splinters that was boosted by magic damage from its summoner. In round 1, This seems a bit out of my teams luck. Lost my Tank early this round while Vethos Spineclaw made a missed attack. That's not a good sign for my team.

Round 2 is where my team made a comeback. Veno's killing the most powerful member of the opponent's team is a good sign for claiming victory.

This is where the battle ends in round 3. Its a good fight actually, my team survived those magic attacks because of the tactics of my summoner. But also, the team played important part on this battle that it resulted in victory.

• Vethos Spineclaw is a good card to be formed in the team specially if its in high mana battles. That Apex strike ability is really a good one to possess.
