Hydra vs Pelacor mercenary

Right after the new reward cards were launched, i have always been so curious to witness a one on one battle of pelacor mercenary and hydra, these two monsters have both the healing and retaliate ability....

The difference in their ability is the thorn hydra possess which we can say can be a nightmare for the opponent but pelacor also have the flying ability that gives chance for non flying monsters to miss it in battle.....

Moreover pelacor life is +1 more than the hydra and it also have an armor which hydra doesn't have, it is fair enough!

So it seems i was not the only one that is curious about these two powerful monsters because i started seeing battles where those two had to face each other and most times, it is the hydra that always win!... Like 90 percent of the time they got paired in battles, hydra wins the battle....

I had a similar experience with palikari123 in a blast and heavy hitlers battle rule and guess who won?

As expected i won! but while watching the battles, the hydra had two misses which is due to the flying ability of the pelacor, one thing i notice is that the hydra was more agile and active in the battle, his retaliate ability works perfectly unlike the pelacor which was so dense and they both had the same speed!

They both had same six speed but the hydra keeps attacking first, probably if the pelacor was as agile as the hydra, the opponent could have won as the only difference is the thorn! and he could bypass that once with his armor....

The past battles and this gave me a choice when i need to pick one of them in battles, i will always go for hydra since it has higher win rate than pelacor...

It seems we will be seeing Dec at pegged price soon because it has been having a nice pump recently....

Llama is a good summoner and I love hydra retaliate and self healing ability. It used to terrify me back then when my opponent use it against me. I remember when I was very much active in the game tho. Congrats on the win.

i remember those days too, forgotten the name of your ts account though😁, it is obvious hydra is better than pelacor, hydra is one of the beast of sl and llama mage just unleashed more of its brutality

Woah... This is a one-on-one battle. I think the Pelacor lost over Hydras' thorns and retaliate abilities.

The pelacor also have retaliate ability but not just as active as the hydra, and i will admit the thorn increased the win rate of the hydra
