Splinterlands Battle Challenge: The Hill Giant

This season comes with amazing update from the team, from merits being added to chest reward to different kind of focus added to the game play, after reading through all the focus my top two pick were healing and buffs focus

• Healing: This requires you to use healing monsters, tank heal, monster with triage and the cleanse ability to win and it seems to be the easiest as it is rare to see a player come up with a team without monsters with this ability except it is a heal out battle rule so this is my favorite focus and i know i will definitely earn a lot of chest if i am lucky to get this focus .....

• Buffs: This focus is also good but not as great as the healing focus, i see some abilities that i can't go to battle without using them and that is the protect ability, i love to make sure my monsters are well protected for them to be able to cast their attack on the opponent, other abilities in this focus are the inspire, strengthen and swiftness.....

I got the fire focus today in browarrior but i wanted to try out one of the newly updated focus so i switched it and it gave me buffs focus so the number of focus chest i earn will determine if this new focus update is better than the old splinter focus...

This week splinterlands battle challenge is about Hill Giant, this monster is not well used in battles even i don't use it that much but it is a powerful monster and having 3 mana makes it easily to be fixed in a battle....

I had a battle with `hametaro`` in a heavy hitler and no legendary rules so i decided to use the hill giant since it has the stun ability and that favors the battle rule..

• Hill giant: it serves as my tank to receive the hit...
• Failed summoner: Supporting tank incase the opponent comes with magic monsters..
• Khmer princess: The tank healer to refills the life of my tanks
• Acid shooter: used for its scattershot and poison ability which is very effective
• Tower Griffin: used for its protect ability..

I was victorious as all the monsters played their part well, the opponent came in strong too as we used something similar, just one monster difference but i was lucky...
