Hello Splinter Nerds

This week Splinterlands battle mage secrets is Taking sides

In this ruleset, players can not use neutral monsters, only the monsters from the splinter lands are allowed except one uses a dragon summoner which makes it possible to use the dragon monsters too.

I was paired with Darknis in a 3 ruleset battle.

The first rule set was Broken arrow in which range attack monsters can not be used, the second rule set was Briar patch in which all monsters have thorns ability and this is not in favor of melee monsters, the third rule set is the Splinterlands theme for this week and has been explained above.

The opponent used Grandmaster Rathe to summon the life splinter while I used Quix the devious a dragon summoner to summon the life splinter too, which means we used the same splinter just a difference in summoner.

Kralus

The Kralus was my tank and it is suitable for the position cos of his high health and armor for protection, it is also a healing monster so it will be difficult for the opponent to eliminate it.

Iziar

This monster is one of my favorite reward cards because of the martyr and taunt abilities it possesses, all the opponent monsters focus on it, and the opponent also uses it which makes it fair.

Djinn Renova

This monster is well known for her triage ability which supplies health to rear monsters in her team, I placed it adjacent to Iziar so whenever Iziar dies and the martyr ability gets activated, it will add +1 to all her stats.

Oshuur Constantia

Oshuur is the first dragon legendary neutral healer, which makes it to be commonly used in battle, it also has a resurrect ability that gives the team more chance at greatness plus the reflection shield, it is one of the best healers.

Dax paragon

I used this monster for his affliction ability to stop the opponent monsters from healing.

Adelade Brightwing

Last but not least is Adelade with the repair and resurrect ability and this monster can not be affected by any negativity because of her immunity ability. She helped resurrect Iziar which further boosted the stats of Kralus and Renova.

Our lineup was similar, what made me win was the Kralus I used, I guess he was not expecting it, and the monster he placed as his tank can't heal and also has low health.
