The fear of Cryptic summoner in certain ruleset
Hello Splinter nerds
It is less than 24 hours before the season ends, and players are struggling to get a good spot on the leaderboard of which I am also one... I am currently ranked in the top 31 and I hope to get to the top 25 before the season ends, it is harder to top now since there is only 1 leaderboard with hundreds of accounts competing to get a good spot.

Cryptic Summoner is still giving me joy with his amazing prowess in battle, I made a post about it where I talked about his poison and expose ability but I don't use that often now, it is the other stat I fell in love with which is the Retaliate and Enfeeble ability...
These two abilities are awesome in melee rulesets or in battles where you are sure the opponent will use melee monsters

I had a battle with Antonine in a two combole ruleset
Aimless: I figured out the opponent would use a melee monster as a tank because of this ruleset, magic, and range will just throw their attack randomly at any monsters in the opponent team so players often use a strong tank to aim well, what I did not expect was the opponent to come with a melee tank and another melee with reach ability.
Aim True: This ruleset means all the monsters would hit their target, regardless of flying, dodge, or flying abilities, there would be no miss, I love this ruleset because your winning depends on your formation and no random luck like misses in the battle.

Immediately after our formation was shown, I knew I had a bigger chance of winning because of my tank and It was as predicted, Check out the formation below!
- Summoner = Cryptic - Abilities = Retaliate and Enfeeble
Tank = Mantaroth

Mantaroth was my tank and it did a great job in this battle, The first monster that died in the battle was Venka the Vile which belonged to the opponent and it was eliminated by Mantaroth through retaliation from its attack. It was also my tank that eliminated the opponent tankSilverblade fighter`` and weakened the melee attack of the opponent Mantaroth, I would have lost the battle with it but he did not do it alone as he was supported by my rear monsters.
Daigendark Surveyor, Daarg Deadblast, and Angelic Mandarin

This monster is nonattack but it was bestowed a magic power by the weapon training monster I used, Surveyor has a high speed and a stun ability even though it did not stun any monster till the end of the battle, it caused some damage to the opponent rear monsters.

Daarg Deadblast was the magic monster with the weapon training ability and it also added +1 speed to all the monsters in its team which further gave me a good chance to attack first and destroy the opponent, the triage ability also made it difficult for the opponent to eliminate my rear monsters.

The Mandarin was the second triage monster I used so I was not surprised the opponent could only take down one of my rear monsters because the rest had enough health supplements to keep them going.

Venka is the nonattack monsters slayer because it does double damage to this monster, it has a high melee attack and that was pretty useful as it causes havoc to the opponent's team while Anasth was my tank heal supplementing Mantaroth with more health.
I just love this battle win and formation .

Pretty intense battle brother. Your strategy with Cryptic Summoner and those abilities really paid off. It's impressive how you predicted your opponent's moves and adjusted your lineup for the win. Such veteran experience man. Really really impressive !BEER
