Using the right team to counter the rule set increases your chance of winning

It feels bad to hear that some of those working for the team were laid off again but what must be done must be done to maintain and sustain the game.

Hopefully, the bull comes upon us soon, asset prices go up and players and investors will smile again but for now, let us keep enjoying the gameplay and work with the teams.

I had a battle recently that I deem fit to share with others because it was an amazing win, this usually happens when you use the right team that fits the 3 rules given.

• Noxious fumes: This is one of the deadliest rulesets on Splinterlands in which whole monsters are poisoned except those with the immunity ability.

• Wands out: Only magic monsters can be used

• Aimless: All monsters have the scattershot ability, their attack is random and can hit any monster, it only has an effect on magic and range, the melee monsters do not utilize this ability.

Based on the ruleset, only magic monsters and the poisoned, I came up with just two monsters that can help to win the battle.

EFREET ELDER

This is the first monster I used and it is based on the abilities it possesses, it has the phase ability which makes it possible for magic monsters to miss their attack on it, it also possesses the last stand ability which add 50% of all its stats to it if it is the only monster left on the team.

I actually relied on this monster to win this battle but because of the noxious fume rule, I had to use another monster with the `cleanse`` ability in the second position.

Diamond Dragon

The diamond dragon was the backup plan in case the Efreet elder failed at the task of eliminating all the opponent monsters, also the diamond has the cleansing ability to take away the poison on Efreet, and lastly, it also has the last stand ability, so just in case the efreet fails, it can also perform the task and I use the byzantine kitty summoner to replenish their health.

The opponent used two monsters too but they were not up to the task and it was quite an easy win for me!
